This guy is an undercover antifa member wearing Trump gear, pretending to hate Biden/masks, and drape himself with American colors. True patriots and Republicans never stormed the capitol. This was all a ploy from the FBI, the Democrats, and antifa. It's good that all of these frauds are getting put in jail because it's nobody on our side.

Why isn't he tried for attempted murder of a police officer? I'm from Scandinavia, so I don't belive in to harsh sentences - but with your system - 20 years should be reasonable, and give them a chance to go on parole like everyone else. Even here I think those kinds of actions those people took that day should warrant at LEAST ten year sentences if done here. 63 months for participating in a coup attempt is a farce in any judicial system. Parole after a year? Wouldn't surprise me at all.

I agree with 100 % there are people in our country doing more time for marijuana possession
@faithnfire47692 жыл бұрын
I imagine it's difficult to prosecute for such a specific crime when there was such a large group. It would be to easy to argue against attempted murder, again their lawyers would only have to argue that he didn't intend to kill an officer rather than argue what he did. Assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon is much easier to prove (ensured he got a felony at least) Max in DC for that would be 10 years, this was 5.25 or so. There might be sentencing guidelines that regularly sentence far lower (most states do that). In this case he isn't linked to any specific injury which is probably why it wasn't even higher.

What was the CIC doing for 187 minutes while our government was experiencing the worst attack since 1812. trump planned, financed and executed the failed coup d'etat attempt. Because there is a formal punishment guideline associated with every charge and specification under which any defendant is charged. This guy, like the others, was charged under 18 US Code [crimes associated with insurrection all the way up to Treason]; some were also charged under 40 US Code [violent crimes not associated with Treason down. Fines, like all punishments, are supposed to fit the crime, and not be “cruel and unusual”. From the looks of this guy, a fine of a few hundred K would be cruel….and he wouldn’t be able to pay the fine, anyhow. Judges are fining every one of the defendants brought before them. Collectively, they damaged property estimated at $1.5M. Collectively, the 600+ dweebs will eventually pay back to real citizens what they owe.

You’d be surprised how trained FBI officials could induce you to do something you other wise wouldn’t do. Jan 6 is how good the fbi and the deep state is at getting people who are upset over a crappy and very close election calls in several states. The national guard was asked to stand down, step one. Minimum capital security police on hand, step two. Step three have the fbi posing as trump supporters with inflammatory remarks planted in the crowd to try and work up a storm which worked. All these steps were well planned out because they needed an insurance policy that trump couldn’t ever run again. That’s what this was about. The proof is in the voter turn out. Do you even know the definition of treason in a legal sense? Or the difficulty of actually convicting somebody of treason.
@lawrencelymanii69432 жыл бұрын
@@Irvingstine I agree , totally, about the difficulty of actually prosecuting these cases successfully, but, once one actually swears and oath , to defend this country, and it's constitution, and those particular persons, having sworn said oath, actively participate in actions that violate that oath, then I believe, though I'm just one person, that it fits the definition of treason.

@@lawrencelymanii6943 So does that include Mayor's and Governorers and DA's who stand in front of buildings federal and or state with BLM and Antifa as they burn and vandalize them. Or hold Police stations and attempt to break into the vault where the guns are... And the courthouses they occupied. How about there complicity in the formation of autonomous zones Outside of the rule of law in the United States in the cities they govern and or police. Or those don't count because they meet your political viewpoints.

@Dark to Light It wasn’t patriotic to “support him” (a.k.a. participate in a violent insurrection…) after he had been voted out. If you only love democracy when your guy wins, then you don’t really love democracy.

1998 Merck altered a study for a new drug called Vioxx. 3 of 800 in a study died from heartattack. Vioxx went on to kill 40-60k until 2004 when drug was removed. Merck made 15 billion on the drug, had to pay 12 billion in fines. No jail time. This guy sprayed a fire extinguisher at the cops who protect the people who allowed the deaths of 40k-60k people to go unpunished.

Clinton and Trump are long standing business partners 2016 erection was a win win. Jan 6, was planned by both sides. Removing security calling off the national guard and reducing officers on the ground in hopes of the protest getting completely out of control to the point of burning down the building. The people who caused damage are being tried and publicized for a few reasons. One is protection, expect bigger fencing and military on the ground for future protests and election cycles. @@jetskiwillywilly7970 a total lie. People DIED because of TRUMP'S LIES!
Yes, he should go to jail. However, the language used by the broadcasters in inflammatory; insurrection, siege, etc. Lastly, I suspect most of those pleaded guilty because they were offered a deal in exchange for not being charged for more serious crimes and decades long sentences (ie; Brandon Straka). It is a no win situation for those arrested. Welcome to the Soviet States of America!
