He was one of the first booths I went to because it was advertised that he had free jazz which is my main thing. I got a Schweizer Trio on FMP and Dieter Scherf Trio on a very small German label called LST

Excellent pickups & enjoyed the shopping! Congrats on the What Difference promo and loving the Belly 'King' (just got the uk '16 'Star' x2 disc reissue - cheap heat, excellent sonics). I found lots of sibilance on the GM 'Listen w/out Prejudice' (bought a sealed for wife's bday, so maybe why ours is noisy lol)...how about you?

Great video as always Arnaldo! Thanks for the footage of the show.. so many great albums I saw 😮 wish I would’ve gone! Solid pickups. I see you got an org of Nevermind, hopefully it’s the RTI..it’s a good one..that and the us og are my fvt ones. The pixies Doolittle, I have the US DMM promo with the special see through reddish vinyl (kind of line the supervinyl of the mofi) which sounds excellent.. not sure if you’ve heard that one. I saw that Coldplay parachutes!! 300 for it, a bit high, I got mine for a lot less.. luckily I got all the other ones as they were coming out.. I have Rush of blood..the uk when it came out, and the other ones are probably US OG’s . Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼

Saw you for a brief moment on Friday but was in some heavy negotiating for a rare LP then did not see you again. I did run into Chance. Re-entry was huge this year with needing to go get food and cash.

Arnaldo killer finds man a UK Doolittle I would love to find I hear those pressings are top notch. I was drooling when you showed The Smiths promo 12”. I still have a quest for an OG Nevermind and IN Utero man it’s touch you found smokin’ alternatives the European pressing are killer. Suede Bloodsports OG is awesome I dig Suede I have almost all there OG I’m still missing A Nee Morning and Night Thought love it Arnaldo take care.

Great to see you Arnaldo and too bad we couldn't hang out longer. I was in the zone pretty heavy and could barely comprehend much else. Just made sure to get a few slices of pizza here and there. Mistake on my end not hitting Yao's booth. That looked good from the brochure and just didnt get to it. I don't think? Great grabs too. The Bjork, Belly and Pixies most importantly. Very satisficed with my experience this year too. Hopefully next year it'll be back to Sat / Sun. Cheers!

@@seekingathread I totally agree with you. I too feel that we didn’t have enough time to hang. I get overwhelmed at record shows and try to focus on maximizing my time at various tables. I’m getting better at it with each fair, but I still spent a lot of time at Yao’s table! Cheers! Take care!✌🏻

Hi Arnaldo! That as an interesting and thorough look at the NYC records show. It's about 4 times as large as the ones I'm accustomed to. Some of those prices in the flip through were awfully high. Were those dealers negotiating or holding out for the sticker price? Hopefully I can tune in to the Surface Noise show tomorrow and can hear more about the experience. Take care, Elliott

i just saw Tears for Fears perform in Vegas a week ago, incredible show. I do not want the reissue of Songs from the Big Chair. Which pressing would you recommend, and how much did your UK copy cost? I was aiming to buy a Japanese OG for $50 a few months ago, but it got away from me.

I was shocked by some of those hardcore collector prices. I had no idea. There was literally 10s of Thousands of dollars in those boxes. My God. People are insane. Ages ago, we could have p/u that stuff for pennies on the dollar and if we sat on it, it would be worth a fortune now. I also noticed some nice prices. I wonder what the condish on those was. Overall, bc of the Fri/Sat deal, Friday was a big score day if you had it off and got in there for the stiff early bird price. Our early bird price in Burlington VT for our record fair for one hour is $5. Then it's free.

I’m going to have to go back and watch the footage and see those two records you mentioned since I’m not familiar with them. That’s probably why I flipped by them fast. For the amount of dealers that were there I think 3 hours of early bird weren’t enough. 😂 I get overwhelmed when there is a large crowd shopping for records. I can focus better without people hovering over me or rushing me to look through the bins. But that’s just me.
