You can clearly see seatbelts in that van. The driver said he hit the brakes to avoid an accident, but that is a lie. Randy was kicking on the walls inside the van, so in retaliation, the driver took him for what police officers call "a rough ride". This was one of those that resulted in the injuries. The driver needs to be arrested and charged.

I want to give what I can to show there are some in this country who have compassion. SHAME on the New Haven police. I hope this cost them MILLIONS of bucks. Cox is paralyzed from the neck down. It's important to understand that there are certain types of people attracted to law enforcement: Sadistic psychopaths, predatory sociopaths, narcissistic maniacs with fragile egos and rage disorders, serial abusers, racists. If this happened here in Europe all the cops would get VERY long sentences. I hope the US court system is going to take action against these kind of attemped-manslaughterers. Because thats what they are. This is so many stages beyond malpractice or negligence. These cops should rot in jail and never get a normal job again, even the ones that just watched this unfold. They could have done something but they didn't. They are all trained in first-aid. They know extremely well that they are not allowed to move someone with neck-complaints after an accident. I wouldn't even call them people.

The real problem isn’t just that the driver was wreck-less but that they treated him like he’s healthy and refusing to move instead of hurt. That needs to stop too because he could have had a different reason for this like stroke injury before arrest etc and the dragging him out and tossing him in the cell only makes it worse. All cops involved need to be behind bars especially the one that assumed he was drunk when he deadly injured

A person with no priors doesn't even need to be arrested. Take his picture, scan for fingerprints, DNA and give court date and release. Actually the involved Officers should have their pay suspended while they are on administrative leave. If the Officers were placed on paid administrative leave for being a participant of (alledged) misconduct with pay, it is just the same as accrued vacation pay, If more bad cops were placed on admin-leave without pay, things would change when it comes to how suspected perpetrators are treated by cops. If the related cops were placed on unpaid administrative leave with a stipulation that their pay would be retroactively released to them after the investigation and if found not responsible for the injuries or death of the accused, then an equitable and just outcome would prevail. However if the involved Cop is found to be responsible for the misconduct that caused undue injuries and or death because of excessive force or a death, then the suspension of the administrative leave monies should go to the court coffers to be divided between court cost and any upcoming civil suits filed against the city/police jurisdiction awarded to the injured party. In this case, Mr Randy Cox. Chant this Attorney Crump: " NO PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE FOR OFFICERS MISDEEDS" 🙏🏿🙏🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏻🙏🙏🏿 Many prayers go out to Mr Cox and family for all involved officers to be held fully accountable for injuries he suffered and sustained.

😩 There were no seatbelts 1:31 a row of seatbelts sitting right in your face on the seat😩. Typical. Whatever they say is always the exact opposite of facts. Exactly why I stopped taking any media serious years ago

Whether he's a convicted felon or not.he didn't deserve that kind of treatment dragged on the floor into the cell and just left him female asked him are you drunk they didn't care if he was injured or not and who knows by dragging him out the van by his legs pulling on him could have made his injury worse.

Pretty bad.. paralysis from chest down and tubed.. hell of a sentence. Imo only death would be worse. Sickening. Foul treatment. Whether or not felon.. which apparently he was not.. just repugnant.. on all these so called officers. They are required to know first aid. No excuse for this. Absolutely appalling! My cousin was quadriplegic after diving accident. He died at age 34. Lawsuit, internal an external investigations and criminal prosecution is absolutely justified.. from driver to every officer involved. Omfg! Awful. Prayers for young man and his family. This is a life sentence.. for them all, I'm afraid.
