When you read articles about financial freedom, you may hear people talk over and over again about how they spend next to nothing to be able to retire at a younger age like 30. Instead, they may have already achieved financial freedom and boast about how frugal they were in order to retire well before the typical retirement age.
@kk_G2
@kk_G2 Жыл бұрын
Planning for retirement, or even financial freedom, is a marathon and not a race, as the saying goes. Breaking your financial independence goals into small pieces can help you stay on track while making the process a little more manageable and hopefully a little less stressful. Even if you are starting small, the important thing is to start. The investment creates a safe haven for the future. Everyone needs it so you don't go bankrupt when you stop working

Some people think it is counter productive to get groceries delivered because there is a fee. We use Walmart delivery. It costs $13 per month. It is very convenient, but it absolutely saves us money. We use the app to create our shopping cart. It keeps us under budget every week. Spending $13 a month saves us a ton of money. Have you ever gone into Walmart to buy a few items and walk out confused how you spent over $200?!? Haha

I walk into walmart with only my budget and leave under it all the time. I make sure I leave with change. It is mind control basically. I am working hard to save so I am inside a lot to keep me on track.

Hello Grant. I think some individuals may be under the impression they have to save for 30 "consecutive" days. Sure, some challenges are like that, but many people cannot weather saving on a daily basis due to their income levels. Once I realized this, I know my savings goals would be attainable. I know your video touches on this, but I haven't found any videos out there that directly explain this concept at the outset.

I have adapted your goals and I write on sticky notes and put them on the mirror in my room three goals at a time and then the date and how far i've come or if I have gone past my goal. I have started the £11.11 a day today as well as two other goals. Thank you again for the brilliant advice and the positive mentality.

Thank you for actually thinking of the little guys with this video. Too many youtubers, and you admitted to doing it yourself, only think based off their income or a “engineering” or “tech” income which not all of us are skilled for. There are some people that have no choice, that cannot save due to cost of living and living paycheck to paycheck. I spoken to a elderly lady who cannot open a bank account because they don't have the money to do so. Let's see how people can save when they only make 800$ a month and because of their health cannot work. I imagine that is not easy to do, if even possible.
