Here is an almost complete episode of the WGR Weekend News from 1982. Can anyone source the exact date?

As far as I can tell this is the only living aircheck with me doing weather on Channel 2. Thank you so much for posting. I had never seen it before. That was my first weather job and now 40 years later nothing's changed.

December 1982 was a very anomalous weather month in WNY. The first 5 days of the month saw high temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s. This broadcast came during a seasonal few days of cold, but by the end of the month it warmed up yet again. The high temp on Christmas day was 64 degrees and a couple days later it was 68. I can only imagine the pearl clutching by global warming alarmists if we had weather like that today.

The Whalers wearing those strange long pants. They only tried those for a year or two. Another team wore them too, the Flyers I think? The sports guy sitting in what looks like his basement taking calls. We'l never see stuff like that again.
