The poetry and musicality of the great Billy Joel. Many many many more BJ. As an aside, Billy was an amateur boxer in the New York boxing circuit. 20 and 2, but quit when his nose got crushed/broke. Lucky us cause we got his real gift...his music.

This song is amazing. It was the title track for his goodbye album and it was perfect. What's even crazier is that he can do this live and make it look easy. Check out his performance of this one at the 1994 Grammys. You'll dig it.

Billy Joel writes amazing music and lyrics in familiar genres, that’s why his songs are instantly likeable and yet timeless, his ability to evoke an emotional response with his lyrics about the human condition is second to none, it’s why we can all relate to the topics he chooses to write about, if you are feeling a certain way at a point in your life I guarantee he has a song about it, you don’t need a therapist, just Billy Joel.
