The Prophet ﷺ compared the Companion’s voice to a Mizmar because of it’s sweet sound and melody; this does not make wind instruments halal, it’s just a use of simile in language. As for the duff, then yes the scholars did say it is allowed, but they add restrictions like only playing it in certain occassions, but the rest of the instruments are unanimously agreed upon to be harām at all times.

For example, music can make a person recycle some hard feelings and lead to depression, bad mood, suicidal thoughts, drug and alcohol consumption. It can slow down a person in life. Music can also lead to fornication and drinking and car crashes etc. Angels leave the house when music is played in it and shaytans (evil jinns) love it. May Allah open our hearts for The Truth. Indeed, all Islamic rules are for our own good even when we don't see it clearly.

Lot of scholars are against music as haram claim. It’s Allah who decides haram and halal not some sect scholars. Its islam not christianity or judaism. Everything is clear. The rules and restrictions are already given by Allah, no room for innovations.

And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

The meaning of this Hadeeth, It was a compliment from the Prophet PBUH to Abu Musa which the prophet emphasize and compare Abu Musa's vocal when reciting the Quran to the family of Prophet Dawood since Prophet Dawood was known for his beautiful vocal. Music itself is haram due to the instrument in it (this includes all the nasheed with instrument). Another point, music and adultery's sin happens in nearly the same time ( Source: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5aZoqlvpLSer6M ). Shaytan was the one that create the instrument and music which gathers men and women to do the first adultery, so tell me how is music not haram brother? There is no Hadeeth from what I have read that shows that music is permitted. More sources: “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allâh without knowledge. And takes it (the Path of Allâh) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire) (Surah Luqman Verse 6) "Indeed, there will be in my Ummah (Followers) such people who will regard fornication, silk, wine, and musical instruments as permissible for themselves" [Sahih Bukhari 5590] May Allah forgive us and guide us to the right path!

@@Ripaldo99 I am not following any sect I'm just following Quran and Sunnah and Hadith says There will be people from my ummah who will allow Music, Alcohol and Zina Halal....That clearly means that these things are haram but people will make it halal.....And the Mizmar you are talking about is not Music It's Melodious Voice that Allah gave to Daud (PBUH)....Though Singing is not Haram but the Musical Instruments and only Duff is halal....

@@awaisabbas_ there are 100s of sahih bukhari hadees where we can see duff, tambourine and mizmar(arabian flute). So 100s of hadees against 1 hadees makes that single hadees weak. Thats the general rule if fikh. Besides quran never said musical instruments are haram. Lakhuvul hadees is not music. Some scholars misinterprete quran these days without any fear.
