+unknown-entity23 I was listening to Comsat Angels in the early 80's & followed them right through their career. I still listen to them today. The original release of DARK PARADE did not have all this reverb all over it & sounded better than this. If you search on youtube I'm sure the original will be here somewhere. This is why I made the comment about all the reverb.

There are some YT videos around of a version with less reverb, but that's from the 1981 Peel session. All others that I've come across on the site are of the "recorded in a cellar" one posted here.

thought i read somewhere that they recorded drums in the cavernous lobby of the Polydor building afterhours. Mics hung over from a balcony above the lobby.
