I'm not embarrassed to admit Haley has been my number one favorite artist for the last three or so years. The first song heard was the KEXP performance and I knew Haley was going to be a huge part of my life. When I found Oom I was just going back to college at Clark College in Vancouver at the age of 24 and I really resonated with it as I was living in moldy apartment after moldy apartment in the downtown vancouver / 4th plain areas. When I went on my first ever solo backpacking trip two years ago I was camping at Santiam Pass right between Mt Washington and Three Fingered Jack singing Little Wind on repeat. I think I was a little afraid of the dark / unknown at that moment but the following year I hiked about 1200 miles on the PCT from the Mexican border to Reno and I know it's my relationship with Haley's music that contributed to my overcoming various fears about solo travel / education and other intrinsic fears. I just found Blue Mountains this morning and I really resonate with it as I'm a Portland native living near the Blue Mountains right now. ❤️

Funny you should mention that. Good chance this coming year she'll have a tour in the UK. This next fall she'll be returning to Spain, Germany, Austria, etc. but because of scheduling wasn't able to fit in UK but maybe next spring....fingers crossed. Her first full length LP should be ready soon. Thanks for listening!

Hi, Chris. Haley is finally headed your way! In May she will be in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Manchester. In August she will be back to the UK for three festivals (Green Man, Live at Leeds, and End of the Road). Like you, I enjoy some of the obscure music of Haley's that we find on the internet. But her album songs are being critically acclaimed, giving her a big opportunity to perform. I hope you are still a fan and can find a way to see a live performance, they are a lot of fun.
