Wharncliffe Woods The Slab trail is Scary 💀

Great riding Bo, you've made some of those look easy. Went for the first proper ride there yesterday - I felt very out of my depth!

Yes, definitely not easy this place. I've been focusing on steep and technical stuff since my last visit here which helped a lot this time. There are some high consequence features here if you get them wrong.

The trails a bit further up from The Slab are the ones to start on imo. The only sizeable feature on these is the chute on the "middle" trail. Also the push up isn't too bad for acoustics (considering the steepness of this place).

Love Wharny, not been for ages. Now my full suss has has its full service and new bearings, may have to get back there as there's a few trails I want to try out. Good riding Bo.

Nice 👌. I kind of want to go back and don't at the same time 🤣. Need to check out some more of these trails to the right after the steeper climb next time. There are some "nice" features on them 😅.

Thanks bud. Yes, I was worrying getting over the slab but it's the other features that are a lot more tricky / consequential imo (the drop and the left hand turn over the rock). The slab is not too bad at all providing you have a bit of momentum at the top.

Thanks 👌. Big achievement for me this. Probably the most difficult (most consequence) trail I've done so far. There were 2 crashes on the rock drop off and a crash on the left turn over the rock (the one just before the slab) in a space of 45 minutes 😱.
