Can we please get videos from working professionals? People working in advertising, property managers, nurses, teachers, people in the service industry, people with blue-collar jobs? We already see the houses some creators have on their social media, we need people with more relatable lifestyles
@Kevin-sm8pn3 жыл бұрын
Sara Garayo My hesitation with this is most people have unrealistic expectations. In my mind, a firefighter and a nurse, specially in a high cost of living area is probably going to be living in a studio apartment with their seven kids, and a lot of people want poor people in rich people situations, like they want a couple earning 10k a year to somehow own a five bedroom, three bathroom house in NYC, lol. They don't understand that if you want relatable people with low to average incomes, they're going to be dirt poor and not have the best living situation. Like would you be happy with a video about a nurse and a firefighter in NYC living with their parents, five children, five siblings and their 12 nieces and nephews in a two bedroom, one bathroom house in Jersey City?

I would be interested but my guess is that lower income average homes aren’t trending on social media right now so no. They probably won’t.

We want poor people in rich cities and we want them to earn 10k a year working part time at a grocery store twice a year and somehow be able to afford a 9 billion dollar mansion in NYC overlooking Central Park and somehow also be on the beach even though it's six hours away because that's what I want damn it! @Kevin-sm8pn3 жыл бұрын
patriciana Sure, but pretty much all of them are living with roommates or family. They don't live by themselves in large houses, or even small studios. I know Mr. Kate did a makeover for a couple who was living in the garage of his parents house with their young child. That's realistic for poor people, but that's not what people want to see.
