I absolutely loved this apartment. Her cool laid back funky style conveys so posh yet comfortable. The space is nice and airy while also being homey. You can tell she uses every room in that apartment and everything was intentional and has a place. Good job.

Queue the “I have a 6 bedroom home in “Indiana, Texas etc” comments. People pay for LOCATION. The people always whining about their place is cheaper don’t realize it’s for a REASON! LA has millions of tourists and relocaters from all of the world because people want to be there, which drives up the cost of living. So if your home is cheap it’s probably because only a few want to be there.

@@temeka4288 especially if it’s anything to do with California. A certain group of people love to say Cali is a shithole & that’s why people are “fleeing to red states” in reality they’re fleeing the high costs of housing. You can get a 5 bed/3 bath with a 3 car garage and a nice size yard in surrounding states, for what you’d pay for an apartment or a 2 bed home, but you won’t have that beautiful California sunshine year round either.

I understand the hate against CA too. I have left Multiple times to live in places like Texas, Oregon but no place compares to California honestly.

I love what she’s done with the space… you can really see how much thought has gone in to creating different zones and working with the space there, and I’m definitely taking inspiration for my own open plan apartment! (Kitchen/dining/living/work space all in one, though I have a separate entryway and bedroom). I really love those gold globe light fixtures, and I’m definitely planning to get some of those for my own home (right now my dining area is just a storage zone, so I don’t have any fixture on the overhead light there because I don’t want to draw attention to it!) Super jealous of the balcony - that’s a really good space, and that circular snuggle chair looks so cosy! I have huge west-facing windows (amazing view and sunsets, insanely hot in the afternoons/evenings from Apr-Oct!), but would love some outside space like that.

Super expensive cuz of the area/location of course, but it is so adorable the way she decorated everything! Love the way her two area rugs and shower curtain match her dog's colors... btw, he steals the show w/his cuteness! Also her dad appeared easy on the eyes too! So I love plants too but can't imagine having 52 of them; wonder how much times she spends watering them?

Looks cute. But, it's concerning that she pointed out the dog's area on the balcony for "when he's left home alone." Broadcasting that a single woman leaves her doors open when her home is unattended is not wise!! I just bought my condo in north hills for 298K, the NACA program waived the down payment and closing cost. The mortgage is under $1600 including the HOA fees. Stop throwing your money away in rent and buy a condo while you can as LA is becoming so expensive.

The ceiling hole misses: Dab some DAP, or any kind of mud/putty product it doesn't really matter what kind. Use your finger and sort of poke it, you want it to tail, for lack of vocabulary words, basically don't make it flush make messy that's why you use your finger. Poke and pull off. Now let it dry. Touch up the paint with flat not egg, not satin not gloss, flat, or ceiling paint and just touch up the little spots. It won't be perfect but it will take attention away from it.
