As for the beach you have about 6 to choose from not even ten minutes away for 25,000 AU$ a year rental and or a 300 000 Au$ for a 20 year lease. Trust me this is value and joy in a lifestyle.

I know a man who cuts homes out of sandstone. Each chamber is an artistic treasure. It takes 3 years on average and he's underground 24/7. People that buy his time see he is fed, has medical services, and stay away otherwise so he can stay undistracted. Works for less than a quarter million dollars. Requires solid sandstone. Not layered. Any high cliff cliff view is ideal. Expect to have lots of skylight portals overhead. Each future dwelling will be unique. One of a kind. Priceless.

Honestly, if you could just have and million dollar house, southern Europe all the way. Since you get house without mortgage, you won't need much especially if you opt for proper eco house with solar panels. You can just spend time traveling, and that's the best spot as there's so much to see and everything's close by. You have alps, amazing Mediterranean beaches and ofc all the cultural stuff. Other choice would somewhere between Thailand and Australia if you want to live cheaper and have different kinds of adventures and environment.

@@ap-rw3mj A normal flat around 450 to 550 sq feet in the City area costs around 900k to 1 mil. A same sized flat within 5 mins walk to the metro can easily cost over 1.3 or 1.4 mil.
