Idk if it's a bug. My best guess is they never really prepared the ai for multiple targets (given the lack of meaningful escort missions and npc battles taking 5 minutes to kill 2 dudes) and smasher can't handle his "priority target" constantly shifting from the player and their immortal companion

I bought cyberpunk like the 2nd or 3rd day after it came out, and honestly I barely got any bugs on my first ever playthrough on the ps4 (I understand a lot of the bugs were for pc) and I loved it, instantly became my favourite ever game and still is. I bought it on PC a while ago now and as-well on there I barely encountered any bugs, I guess I got lucky but also there were a bunch of them patched by the time I got it on pc, but there were still a lot apparently. Anyways, it's pretty much completely fixed now, I've played it on pc like 2 or 3 times now, and the ONLY bug ive ever encountered in my newer playthroughs is that sometimes when the NPC's speak their mouth doesn't move for like ONE sentence, it's very good I recommend it for anyone that is still kind of questioning buying it.

I love how new ending makes V unable to ACTIVATE combat implants - like, bruh, I ran only armored skin which is not activated but a passive and the cyberdeck - I basically didn't shoot at all, just walked around and short-circuited enemies to lose consciousness for not lethal and make them commit suicide if I did not care...
