Bluegrass Distilleries at Elkwood Farm also bought several of these 15 yr. Turkey/Buffalo Trace. Several barrels were pucked by a few stores in my area and I bought one at $240 with zero regrets. I had it side by side with RR15 and it held its own.

I've tried the 15-year seel batch and I believe you can tell it was aged in the barrels from Buffalo Trace at Buffalo Trace my problem is I haven't drank as much Buffalo Trace as I did OFC back in the 80s and early 90s I switched tequila more often 3:45

Yes I had them both and they are different also but not to be a nerd we all know it comes down to the barrel and the scuttlebutt is wild turkey sent them their barrels Buffalo Trace fill them up around 2008 and then ship the bottles back to Wild Turkey to store them in their own warehouses which would put it right at 2023 at 15 years I believe Wild Turkey held the bottles back for a little while in Warehouse lol whatever it is it's just interesting scuttlebutt and the truth of the reality is they are pretty much doing whatever the hell they want to and telling us something different😂😂😂😂

Are we talking about the same Gary who has been mocking someone online for months after banning them for sharing a link the Blendery mistakenly posted on their own website? The same Gary who even convinced his friends to join in on the mocking? The positive message at the end of this video is something both Gary - and your special guest Chris, who also joined in on mocking someone he’s never met based solely on hearsay - should take to heart. Great video though, Randy - very informative about those insane barrels.

I am not personally aware of the situation. I know that Gary being the enforcer often gets accused of admining too aggressively. I think I even mentioned in the video that there are a lot of people who do not like him. From my perspective, I know Gary to be a loving father and husband. Even if he mismanaged this situations, and I am not saying he did, I don't think that means I should turn my back on him in his time of need.

I've been wondering about this if you put the Russell's 15 up with this. And them holding the bottles back for a little bit it puts it right on the dot of 2008 when they were having Buffalo Trace do some distance kind of weird. Kurt Russell's 15 possibly be a Buffalo Trace distant

I appreciate the video, but you're a couple months late talking about these barrels. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the content. You're completely right, there is a ton of barrel variation in these, so be aware of that if you're picking a single barrel.
