I'm amazed how often "luxurious" properties in London lack any sort of natural light and have many features that you usually associate with "poor homes," such as frosted windows to secure privacy, views directly into walls or someone else's window etc. This home is so dark even though the lights are on in every single room... It's interesting to be able to view these homes but it's not what I expected.

Amy is by far one of my favourite presenters on here. 💕🙌🏻 She knew her knowledge, no awkward pauses or saying “like” too much when trying to describe something. She just knew exactly what she wanted to say & was confident in describing and presenting it to us! 💗 She is an absolute natural! I can see her on presenting in media/TV in the future for sure if that’s what she wants to do then she has a natural talent for it! She just had a flow with what she was saying & didn’t jump from one thing to another without finishing what she was describing before and she tied it all in together…. So if she was starting at the beginning of the room she swept round and tied it all in! She knew the details too & brought them in at the right time. Sometimes I feel random details are thrown in as filler sometimes in-between describing. She placed the details perfectly as she went along! ✨✨ Found there to be a lot of structure to it but also flowed so well you wouldn’t notice the structure unless you were looking out for it like myself! 💕💕 Have her back on the channel please as a regular!

You were actually the best out of anyone on this channel to present in my opinion! - you have a natural way of presenting, no awkward pauses or using words repeatedly for example using “like” too much in-between words. Just very confident in what you are presenting. Not to mention, I’m not sure if it’s your own research you’ve done, but you seemed to know SO much & tell us little details that make the quality of the content so much better. You were just very confident in what you were saying, you didn’t look like you lost what you were saying, or couldn’t think of words to use. You knew exactly what you wanted to say & it came across SO natural. They should hire you Full Time to be honest. This was absolutely the best presented in my opinion!
@annabelle38662 жыл бұрын
@@TheLuxuryHomeShow Hope you have her on here again. As I mentioned in my comment on here. This is absolutely thee best presented property I’ve seen on here thus far. I’ve been subbed since 20k ish followers & watched for a long time. I remember mentioning a long time ago about how I’d love more details about the textures, fittings, the details about the property, the type of textures being used, the names of woods/appliances/the little details about the name of the marble, all of those little things really bring the quality of the content up. And whether Amy was reading from a script or done her own research, she was able to present it in SUCH a natural way. There was no long awkward pauses inbetween describing something, or at the end of a sentence when trying to finish explaining something, which can sometimes make for uncomfortable viewing. However Amy was so natural, she sounded as if she knew exactly what she wanted to say, the way she wanted to describe it & she never had any of those awkward presenter pauses! She was just seamless to be honest! Must be especially harder as she didn’t have anyone to bounce off of behind the camera like Matt/Summer & Jaz/Tom… which made this even more insane for presenting since she described every thing perfectly and really the only way I can describe it as just non awkward! I know it must be hard presenting sometimes & this isn’t getting on at anyone else but I just enjoyed watching this & listening to the information. I find sometimes when others are presenting they use the word “like” a lot between what they are saying as they find it hard to describe, and it makes for uncomfortable viewing as you are watching & willing them yourself to finish the sentence, which is not what you want as a consumer watching. Thanks for having Amy as a breath of fresh air 💕

You'll be pleased to hear they reduced the price from £25,000,000 to £19,500,000. Then down to £15,750,000, which didn't sell and they took it off the market. Why do they always redo these historical homes with ultra modern interiors?? They get rid of all the historical character when they do that. When the front door was opened and I saw the grand entrance the first word that popped into my head was mausoleum. That’s what it reminded me of. Also you’d think in a place of this size they’d have a proper chefs kitchen but it’s this tiny thing compared to the rest of the place. I do like the stained glass windows though but on the whole I’m very unimpressed with the decor. Definitely not worth the price that is being asked when one of any taste would have to redo the entire interior. Can’t argue with the location though. I have friends who live in a 3000 sq foot place in Knightsbridge and they love the area.

people that can afford this house probably also the kind of people who don't want to be forced to live in previous owner's interior preference. they're going to remodeled the whole house to their own taste. they won't pay 25 mil for this house because of the expensive interior that they're gonna demolish anyway. that's why most people would bargain 20% less than the asking price.
@user-ve9zb6zp4l2 жыл бұрын
For the price being asked, this property is incredibly 'portioned controlled'. Whilst there is some interesting use of marble, and some quite zany design (would not those stained glassed windows though eventually give the residents a headache with all their craziness), everything in this property is somewhat suffocating and over the top. London naturally is crowded, with small bedsits and small rooms everywhere, but at 25 million pounds to live half your existence underground in a little warren just to be in knightsbridge is simply ridiculous! No sensible person of wealth would even consider such a hobbit-like property! And those who consider this property and its design jaw dropping, must have the most elastic jaws possible. Or rather, permanently dislocated jaws! The presenter, whilst pleasant was pretty uninspiring, and like many around such companies like Sotheby's clearly doesn't have great vocabulary. Her spiel became very repetitive after a while, and uninteresting, and even she seemed to lack enthusiasm in what she was saying. So yes, a council like flat, with high end marble and automation, with a council flat sized kitchen, no garden, dreary views of the backs of buildings at the rear, and in the bedrooms, at best. Then the stillest most unmoving air in the world, where a fresh breeze would be like a Christmas Present, and a rather motley Cadogen Square communal garden. The designer has clearly just been silly, and overspent on this property. It just doesn't work for most people who are able to afford it. The design is simply the decorator's fantasy, and no other real person! And the owner is simply being silly too thinking that a sensible person will buy this for 25 million pounds. When what you can get for that sum in England is a beautiful and elegant world of your own, with your own tennis court, pool and lawns. And also bigger, better and both more elegant and more harmonious homes in so many other districts of London itself. This is mutton being dressed up as lamb.
@brittscott46732 жыл бұрын

25M? Surely a misprint or is April 1st come round early/ What you get id a rather poky dark flat with a tiny living room, a really tiny kitchen and no lift or garage! Advice to potential buyers - spend half as much in Richmond or Henley and a couple of million doing it to taste and see what you get. Spend a million or less on a Bentley and have a live in chauffeur which the difference in rates will cover. You will be near great pubs, great river views, a huge harden and fresh air as well! Unless the daily commute to Harvey Nicks is an essential part of your life you can do so much better. As for the decor - well money can't buy taste as Rolls- royce currently prove. Would I like to own it? Yes Yes Yess! It would be on the market within the day though.

Like the drawing room, dining room, but once again the kitchen is so small looks pretty basic. Very disappointed with the kitchen design/layout. They could have taken out the snug and made the Kitchen bigger into that area. The bedroom's are also pretty basic again, I do like the colour(black) contrast though with the bathroom. I would say the price is made up of 70% location and 30% the cost of the marble!
