At my lowest point the only way is up. My children are why I'm still here, I couldn't make my families life miserable just because I'm feeling low or struggling. I'm pretty sure he received clemency. He's not innocent just because he says he's innocent. His story was that he was out shopping for Halloween supplies and randomly bumped into his drug-dealing friend (Bryant was also a drug dealer), and while they were talking, the guys that had just robbed his friend the day before happened to walk by, and everyone started shooting. But Bryant claimed he ran and was just at the "wrong place at the wrong time". I don't buy it.

It's important to recognize that this man murdered an 11 year old child as the poor kid was bringing his mother a slice of cake for her birthday. He bled out in his grandfather's arms. There were 4 eyewitnesses two of whom picked him out of a lineup, along with mountains of other evidence. He was convicted, denied appeal numerous times because the case against him was bulletproof. Joe Rogan is celebrating a man who murdered an 11 year old black boy and has never shown remorse.

Wrongfully accused? You notice how the only evidence of that is the murderer and his representative saying he's innocent. Way to ask the hard hitting questions Joe. Like, maybe remind him that four different BLACK people said they saw him pull the trigger. Hey Joe, maybe talk to the jury, the eye witnesses, the detectives, the THREE different judges that went over all the evidence and denied his appeals. But most of all, you should talk to Travis Lilleys family. Have some integrity.

If every witness were White, if the judge were White, if all 12 jurors we're White, if all people involved in the Justice system in this case we're White, it wouldn't taint the evidence presented or the verdict one bit. If it taints your willingness to believe in his guilt, if phrases like "all White jury" put ideas of racial bias in your head...you're just anti-White.

Bryant, 53, had served two prison terms for dealing drugs and was on parole when he and an accomplice shot up the New Look Beauty Salon in Jamaica as part of a drug dispute that targeted the boyfriend of Travis’ mom inside. Travis was gunned down just after bringing his mother a piece of birthday cake while she worked at the salon. The boy’s grandfather, Bobby Lilley, cradled Travis as he died, later telling a reporter: “He didn’t say anything. The only thing he did, he twisted in my arms twice.” Two eyewitnesses picked Bryant out of a lineup in Queens and he was convicted of second-degree murder and related charges in July 1996. Since then, Bryant has mounted multiple, failed appeals, with Brooklyn federal Judge Frederic Block ruling in 2007 that prosecutors had presented a “very strong case.” “In addition to the lineup identifications, Bryant testified that he was present at the scene of the crime when the shooting occurred; further, the prosecution presented two additional witnesses who identified Bryant in court, one of whom testified that Bryant was one of two men who fired at the beauty salon, and the other of whom testified that Bryant was walking toward the salon with his gun drawn,” Block wrote. Bryant maintains his innocence and last year was profiled in a Law360 article that called him the “poster child for clemency” and said his trial was “suspect” because one witness later recanted and Bryant’s defense lawyer had PTSD at the time.
