The Kunai is a great and dangerous weapon, especially if the spy who wields it does so with skill aquired from golden experience, however it is not the perfect weapon. The bad side of it is it makes you too confident, you think you won't die, but if(and you most likely will at one point, more than once, but if you're very skilled it's not that common, anyway) you mess up the backstab, because of the low health you get for selecting the weeb stabbing machine, usually it's too late for you. I guess the dead ringer can help with that sort of problem by cheating death, but the risk doesn't go away.

@@meat. first off, really shouldn’t find yourself in that situation often, unless you play and promote a certain overly agressive play style that allows you to ride out one single stab, which most people adopt with the aforementioned playstyle play spy the original intended way, you’ll be surprised how much you can get away with if you time your cards right, and if that doesn’t work. Watch the many stacked videos on the internet about how to play spy, you’ll notice most cover the fundamentals, which most spy’s lack, and then once you get good at those use whatever niche subset of spy you want In short. Get gud at spy first, not the kunai and dead ringer

Can someone tell me how can one start practicing to be this good? I'm following slurgi and the circle strafe stab guy, and I've gotten a little more consistent with trickstab but I would like to get even better. Any suggestions?

The number one thing all new spy players do is to just try getting trickstabs on everyone, but in reality trickstab is sort of like a last option thing when you cant do anything and youve been discovered is when you try to pull them off. For now just focus on cloaking, getting behind enemy lines and killing them 1 by 1 or if ur lucky you could get a chain stab. If you have been discovered and cant do anything else then go for either circle strafe, a matador or a cornerstab. Also btw the guy in the vid is clearly playing with bots so dont expect anyone to be this good.
