There are girls IN MY STUDIO who tell me on a daily basis, "London, can you even make it through class without water? London, you drink too much water...London, why do you even drink water, you don't need it...London, if you drink water you'll gain weight, you should probably drink less..." And I see them take one sip of water a day...I'm concerned, because some of them look like they might pass out, and don't give even a good amount of energy on the exercises...

I train for 6 hours a day 7 days a week... I swear to you the grocery bill... I eat a lot of fruit for the water and a lot of pistachios/almonds for protein. Congrats! A tip: you know how you engage and lengthen the muscles in your foot for a regular tondue? When you're up on pointe, think about engaging those same muscles instead of just letting the shoe hold you up. It may seem difficult and unnecessary at first, but it will really help you in the future. Good luck!!

I also have 3-6 bottles of water per day (give or take) and i dance only 6.5-7.5 hours per week :/ and yet i am still gaining weight for some reason 😖 (i also can't eat any raw fruit because it makes my throat swell as well as my mouth/throat itchy and tingly)

Hey Kenzie, I wanted to ask you a question about starting dance. I’m already in my 10s and I’m planning on starting dance, is it too late to start? If it isn’t, then about how long does it take to get on pointe?
@valentinalvarez74773 жыл бұрын
I'm not kenzie but it's never too late for ballet, if you like do it Going on pointe will depend on how fast you advance, and gain the strength and technique for that. Sorry for my bad English haha
@pristinetam3 жыл бұрын
It's never too late to start dance!! If you want to start, go for it. As for pointe, it really depends on how hard you work for it. If you take like one class a week and don't practice..it's going to take a lot longer than if you take 3 classes a week and practice like crazy yourself. Your teacher will definitely notice you, cause practicing makes a huge difference! I started pointe at 13, mostly because I didn't have really good, solid professional training in my younger years, but I recently got a really amazing teacher and I started practicing like crazy to get the strength necessary for pointe. So yeah, go for it and work hard, cause dance isn't easy!

I have the same issues with some berry smoothies, but I feel strawberries and blueberries work great. Raspberries are my favorite for jam, and I also love them on the top of my oatmeal, but in smoothies because of the seeds. I love tofu, so the Indian tofu lunch must be my favorite. I would probably have some green with it, since I love things like baby spinach, and green beans. Some broccoli would have been good too. And I would have put some baby spinach in the smoothie too, so it would be “monster smoothie” 🤣🤣 Yes you have to eat when you are so active. It will work for some time to not eat that much, but then your progression will slip up. I have eating disorders, and I am now on a normal weight, but has been overweight for many years, but my issues for this round of ED has been eating too little and I have been on lower weight. (I have still weekly weight ins, and appointment with my GP, and I am in my thirties) I found that I need to eat so I can do the things I love the most, and for me that is hiking. I go on walks/hiking 20+ hours a week, and that is not possible in the long run with eating too little. I am glad that you show so reasonable day of eating, and that you say in the intro that food is fuel, for everyone, also when you are not working out.
