Inoue is one of the greatest to do it in these weight classes. Always a spectacle to watch. He boasts a 88% ko rate at weights below 122lbs which is insane. He is already considered an atg for the lower weights by boxing pundits. Worth noting that Inoue starches champs at his weight and are by no means padding his results. He currently has wiped out the top 4 fighters at 122 lbs. The reason u don’t hear much about him it’s because he fights lower than 135 lbs which is the weight the American media likes to watch. He’s huge in Japan and Asia , he filled up Tokyo dome (55,000ppl) in his last fight. Last boxing match to take place in Tokyo dome was Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas

if you have time to watch all his fights from the beginning, there are a few things that stands out, 1. he is never tired, 2. he gets better every fight, 3. he has demolished everyone in his way, with the exception of the first fight with donaire, he rarely lose a round, and lastly, he learns and change this tactics mid fight, to adjust to his opponents and beat them at their own game. These are the reason why he is so dangerous. The most complete fighter, with speed, power, accuracy and fight IQ.

fun fact abt the first donaire fight. during the fight the cut inoue suffered broke his orbital bone which made his vison blurry but he adjusted to the loss of sight by fighting mostly with one eye closed.

He is really good at hitting his combo's and then pulling out just far enough knowing the counter's are coming, that's Boxing IQ at the highest, Davis does this also but not as fast as Inoue.

The thing that most of these guy's all found out was that you cannot stand in the pocket with the Monster and trade, Donaire and Nery were the closet but as all found out his power is overwhelming. I think if he were to lose its gonna have to be someone with both power, speed and great footwork to just stay outside his range, but i don't see any boxer in his weight classes matching that. I'd say Davis would be the only one to be able to do that but they are way out from each other in weight so thas not gonna happen.

the worst is that if one day an opponent puts him in danger, Inoue will box him not as a fighter but on his two strongest points, his technique and his speed and over 12 rounds he will find the opening, so if he boxing only to win without seeking the KO, he literally becomes invincible.... And that is very rare because boxing without wanting to destroy the opponent while being able to do so if there is an opening is a double advantage..... What changes from the black American boxers who are trying to destabilize..... Inoue doesn't care and he will lay them out or beat them on points..... A monster !
