Unlike other boxers,Inoue does not aim for a decision,but fights for KO. Naturally, he enters his opponent's territory, so there is a risk of being hit by a bullet.But Inoue was not hit by a bullet except for the first round down . Other boxers would be hit by many bullets if they aim for KO in every match. People who watch fighters who always outbox each other may not understand this. Inoue has said before: "If I want to win by decision, I can win without getting punched. But the fans don't want to see that,so I'm going to take the risk and go for KO." NAOYA INOUE if we take a look back his pro #record he is undefeated never been lost i think if he continues to get up weight and maintain his undefeated record he is better

No need to romanticize undefeated records, Inoue already has better records than just “undefeated” like his K.O ratio for his weight class

Everyone is pressuring Inoue to move up to 126. Yet time after time he’s said 122 is a stretch for his body. He doesn’t need to move up if he’s not sure his body can resist it.there are plenty of fights that can be done at 122. Junto nakatani and bam Rodriquez are two mega fights for the monster when those two inevitably move up.

20:16 - Saying he's thinking really hard about whether to stay at 122 or moving up, makes me hope he is ready to move up after this fight or early next year. I think all his fans and champs at 126 are eagerly awaiting his arrival. Seems like top boxers from 130 down have been calling him out or expressed interest in fighting him. Can't wait for what lies ahead for him. Was pleasantly surprised to see Keyshawn Davis complimenting him in this video as well.

That’s actually VERY bad to hear he’s number of going up to feather has only gotten higher every time he’s asked he used to say his limit was super feather then he changed it to feather first it was 1 year now it’s 2 years now he has said he may not even do it they have the terrible mindset of we will keep boxing but we don’t need to do any more my legacy is already secured so I can fight this tins and it won’t matter
@MarkH-z82 ай бұрын
@@kyoto65011 Yeah it's probably hard to know when he will retire and how far he goes since he said he wanted to retire by 35years old. Maybe he's starting to feel the pressure of everyone wanting him to keep moving up, so he moved the goal posts down so we don't expect too much from him. But he might keeping going higher if he stays motivated and I hope he surpasses our expectations if he set the bar lower. I'm sure he continues to improve and get stronger, so he can conquer at least feather. But I still hope his final match will be a mega fight with another certain super star.

@@MarkH-z8 junto fight wont happen if it does it will be a shutout for inoue junto has not fought even someone remotely good yet
@MarkH-z82 ай бұрын
@@kyoto65011 Junto's tall, so he can move up in weight easy. Also he will have a few years to do that and improve as well. Hopefully it could happen before Inoue retires. But if happens anytime soon, I agree that Junto doesn't stand much of a chance. I would of like Robeisy Ramirez if he hadn't lost his belt but the current champs would still be a good match at 126. Inoue looks to be filling out now and his body could be ready to move up soon.

@@kyoto65011its almost like they dont know how heavy he gets or how soon until they put it into practice. you gotta build the muscle slowly so it stays functional and athletic, thats why theyve changed their tune, hes not putting the weight on at the rate they predicted.

11:33 I'll never get over that moment. Inoue kept landing the stab jab and Scooter thought he would counter it BUT Inoue countered his counter. Like most people I thought Fulton would be competitive and would do well on the inside. But nope The Monster completely dominated

1:00 Japan also has the highest amount of boxing related fatalities due to their no quit attitude even when facing the possibility of death. I think it was last year that a young man had signs of CTE during the last round and the corner didn't call it off, he got knocked out and his legs were already shaking like mad when they carried him out of the ring. He reached the hospital and eventually died after being comatose for a week or so. Kazuki Anaguchi was his name

Dream match would have been prime Inoue v prime Pacquiao at super bantamweight. It hurts to admit as a Filipino, but if I was a betting man I'd have to go with Inoue. Just as physically gifted but more technically sound than Pacman.

@@drummersagainstitk one thing i learned from training in boxing/muay thai gyms is you really have no clue who can whoop your ass on looks alone. I sparred Muay Thai with a dude that was like 5’4 and 120 ish lbs. he couldve knocked me out cold multiple times with head kicks in that session, couldnt line him up for anything significant and could slip right out of clinches.

Naoya Inoue has over 12 documentaries as well series of his entire camp life and training regime on Japanese television and online media.
