That looks a nice gun Rob and as you say it laid the clear on really nice, I think you know Pete's Hobbies he has loads of guns and has done a side by side comparison of the FLG5 and the F160 and said the same as you that the F160 is a better all round gun, I'm temped to get one for primer plus a 1.3 tip for base and clear. I would have thought that the guards from Chapel House would have locked you in there and would be posted outside, I was surprised that one wasn't in there with you in case you tried to harm yourself but you seemed to cope quite well with it being a big indoor space🤔😂🤣

I gotta be honest Rob mate I only watch these fender jobs outta loyalty to the channel and that I think your a top geezer coz I will never get the chance to have one of these guns in my hand the closest I come to clearcoating is a rattle can on my balcony but I'm sure there are plenty of subscribers that get a lot outta these vids so I'll say nice one mate and keep up the good work

Great video Rob and great gun! Quick question, I will be painting a VW T2 van and I already purchased the FLG5 1.3, do you believe it is worth getting the ANI F160 instead for my project? I have the basics of painting but I’m not a professional. I only have one opportunity to do the best job I can and I am willing to get another gun if needed.

I have a ANI 160, Chose it over the FLG as you can get a second needle and cap for only £50. Run a 1.3 & 1.7

Hi start off with setting your pressure to 2bar then your fluid to two and a half turns out with full fan give that a test hope this helps

I've got this gun. When I spray clear, I cannot get the fan as wide as that? Don't know what I'm doing wrong? Any advice much appreciated 🙏

What tip size do you have ? This one is a 1.3mm set up full fan running 2.5 bar

Assuming you have an additional reg to set the pressure, check you have the air lever is fully open back of the gun above the fluid knob Anti-clockwise for full. Has caught me out before.

Hi Andrew 2bar pressure full fan then come in one turn and 2 and a half turns out on fluid for second coat first coat was 2 turns out
