Is there a way to check ? , or is it because it’s hard to remove these bolts abd break is when they stretched? Thanx mate

To be fair, once you release a single head bolt, the gasket is getting replaced. But it is nice to know this info so thanks!

How many miles were on the truck when they failed? Being it was deleted, what hp tunes were you (or the owner) running regularly? (If you know) All the videos were great!

I recently purchased a 2015 6.7 and it is dpf deleted but there is not a tuner with the truck. Do I need to purchase a tuner and tunes .do you recommend me to purchase a tuner and have the one on the truck flashed. By it being dpf deleted is the egr deleted as well. Because the egr cooler is still there.

If the truck is DPF deleted then the ecm will already be tuned. There is no need to buy another tuner. If it wasn’t tuned the truck would be in limp mode. The EGR system will be deactivated with the tune, so the egr valve shouldn’t be letting exhaust into the engine

Yeah using head studs will help prevent it from blowing a gasket again. It doesn’t mean you won’t blow a head gasket, but studs have a lot more clamping force then bolts and don’t stretch nearly as much.

I just replaced my head gaskets on my 5.3 tahoe and it looks just like that one, pretty bad. Replaced with felpro

I have a 2014 accord with a broken one I haven’t taken it to the mechanic yet because I can’t drive I put it into D and it goes nowhere same with reverse. If you had to guess how much will it cost for a repair??

If your car doesn’t move forward or backwards that’s not the head gasket. That’s the transmission.
