This isn't the only appearance by Tom Langford, who played the young lad who is spared. I'd like to say more, bit spoilers. Cinema killed the traveling shows, just like (reportedly) video killed the radio star. :P I've never been comfortable watching this episode. I've never been able to pin down exactly what it is that gets to me, but every times its found its way through the rewatch cycle I have to almost force myself to sit through it.

A spooky, Hammer style story, Peter Cushing or Vincent Price would have fitted in well. A bit of a filler after the hectic wedding but I enjoyed it.

Not the best episode, kind of a generic fun adventure, feels like it couldve been on Doctor Who or SJA without much different, but i like it well enough.

I love this one. It's written by the guy who wrote the cult classic Sapphire and Steel, which has days badly but deserves a reboot... its basically doctor who but there's 2 of them and they are extra dimensional and super strange
