Thank you for your great interpretation and dissertation about this music/lyrics that are played by a unique duo... Particularly, for me Robert Smith as an human, is from another dimension (can't explain)🖤

If you like Lauren's vocals you should check out some of their acoustic stuff, either the Hansa Sessions (Audion only) or the Live from the Honda Stage tracks. Chvrches have been around for around 10 years now and have evolved from a pure synthwave band into a band that have added other genres and styles into their studio albums. Lauren is the primary lyricist in the band, and the 2 guys are the music guys. Even tho they are tagged with this poppy sort of sound alot of the lyrics are pretty deep and sometimes fairly dark. The song "Graffiti" is a good example of this.

One of the best bands you never heard of with quite a large library of tunes. I can recommend one of their newer tunes called “Asking For a Friend”.

Smith and Dylan have been my love since I was a child. The helped me so much in life. They're amazing live too. I've never heard this, beautiful! "I don't want the crown. Take it". 🤍 Lauren's voice did so well with his, it made me want to hear more. Staying conscious when you're drowning is hard. Hanging by a string is fragile, for me but I'm not him. I started Journaling to your reactions. Ahh, you're so good Rosalie!

Really enjoyed this song... A kind of empowerment is what I got out of it. Can always count on you to bring so many different amazing artists and analyses that can resonate with anyone. 💖

My favorite band for years. An incredible song. Also you have to know, that this performance at the nme was the first time they met Robert in person. The whole production of this song/video and album was done apart from each other during covid. And the album "screen violence" is one of the best output of the covid pandemic. There are much better live versions of this out there (LA) , also a remixed version. I just love this. Especially combined with the original video.

Great reaction and I agree not my style of music to listen to on a regular basis it was very like europop sounding overall pretty good and I used to listen to the Cure alot when I was younger so yeah that voice is very recognizeable to me also. I love your breakdown as well. As always your ride or die forever Eyyyyy Ooooo

This song has so much in it but still feels so calm to listen to. You really want to dive into the lyrics but kinda get washed away in the music which is maybe intentional. Very unique music for sure.
