Made me smile. The comment made at Jarvis bay. On turning to the beautiful beach ankle deep in crystal clear water, on a lovely, sunny, hot day. "It's the other side of the world". NO it's not, really it's not, I'm on the other side, it's wet and very cold 😂.

So today was my first time ever sailing, I did it solo too. You and some other dinghy sailing channels gave me the courage to do it thank you I'm hooked now. My dinghy is a windjammer 12ft P.s. I don't know how you shoot video while sailing, every time I pulled out my phone the wind would gust up and I needed both hands to keep her on my tack😂
@SailingKateLouise Жыл бұрын
Great you've seen the light Josh. My Stornaway 18 is quite stable (more a trailer sailer than a dinghy) so I can take my hands off the tiller for 30 secs or so to get some shots.( I also have a tiller clutch which allows you to lock the tiller position). The hardest part is getting good sound( no wind rumble) with a phone as you will no doubt find out. There is no way of attaching a wind muff to a phone. Thanks for watching and check out my other videos, there's about 60, cheers Paul ps send me a photo of your boat to sailingkatelouise@gmail.com

ummm. really have to be careful using what many people think are "viking" symbols. That "viking" sticker is called the helm of awe and is not viking. It belongs to 16th century Icelandic magical lore found in some medieval christian texts. has NOTHING to do with viking compasses Looks good though.
