Got my pattern! It is beautiful, Ruth, just like you, inside and out. I lost my husband a year ago to multiple myeloma only 2 years after his diagnosis. Such an awful disease. I will definitely support Twin Set and Purl in the future.❤

My bother was with me this morning when I turned to KZbin and saw your Breaking News headline. He paused and said his understanding of knitters had been shattered and he was was very amused by it. He laughs at me and my knitting all the time and teases about it in a sweet brotherly way. In honour of LAMB and my brother, I will knit him a Ruth Shawl! Was so happy Monday was here and your special podcast for the Ruth shawl was up and I could buy the shawl pattern! Been waiting for the launch of the pattern. I had two skeins of yarn ready but once I read the yarn requirements I quickly order two more skeins. Did it all enjoying my cup of tea and spending the morning with you! My mother was an OB nurse, who behaved more like a mid-wife LOL She was always available to patients who needed a support person, and delivered both my boys. Got the pattern first thing this morning. It is a lovely design and is for such a great cause. Love the yarn Rachel and Jo gave you, the colours work well together.Been looking through the stash trying to decide what yarn to use. I have some Rowan lace left from a project I frogged so probably will use that with some 4 ply.

I love the shawl. I will definitely go get the pattern. I remember my excitement when a local indie dyer made a pink and white with bright speckles as a colorway in my honor. My best friend used to go to Bangladesh for many mission trip. I have a very special pearl necklace from there that always reminds me to pray. Be blessed.
