Well, nobody can say he's not determined. Mans saw a pretty girl and went "mine now"

Love how Euridice sings along at the end. Shows that she fully buys into the ideal. With what happens later, it's really lovely that we know already that she is so ready to help him finish the song.

(NON SPOILER, commenting for engagement) Fun fact: it took many iterations of Orpheus's character to make him likeable to the audience. In the previous versions of the show, most said that he came across as an inconsiderate a-hole or an arrogant prick. In the final version, they made him oblivious but well-meaning, which made audiences sympathise with him more. If anyone's interested, you can find the older version/s here on yt by listening to the old album/s and old live recordings (he usually wears a jean jacket in the older version)

more of a james dean sort in earlier iterations, but once they landed on "sincere idealistic golden retriever of a man", they found the winning dynamic.

I love how hopeful this orpheus is!!! ❤ wedding song is such an awesome song ~ giving eurydice more of a realistic/cynical outlook on life as a contrast was such a genius move too

I always love the innuendo of ‘lover tell me when we’re wed whose going to make the wedding bed, times being what they are *hard* and getting harder all the time’ it just makes me laugh
