My favorite part, is Hades knows this from experience. Epic 2, “dread that she’ll never come, doubt that his lover, will ever come back”

Exactly! The test is simple: can Orpheus be stronger than Hades?

The live versions of Epic III and They Danced is SOOOO moving. The red flower that appears when Orpheus first shows Eurydice the song comes back into play; it appeared in Orpheus's hand in the Wedding song, hence Eurydice's line "how'd you do that?" and in this song, when Hades and Persephone begin to sing, Patrick Page who plays Hades suddenly has the flower in his hand. I cannot tell you how many people in the audience gasped when it appeared but it was pure magic

genuinely one of those peak theater moments. and then Persephone takes it and cheekily tucks it into his shirt pocket. also, shout out to the one recording where Hades bends to put down his chair for 'His Kiss, The Riot' and the carnation falls out of his pocket. the leaden silence as he takes his time picking up the flower and _contemplating_ it as he finds his seat and begins the monologue.

For the finale "Road to Hell (reprise)/ We raise our cups" there is no animatic, but you aren't getting the full impact listening to a lyric video. The Musical Speakeasy posted a live recording with the original Broadway cast right here on KZbin. Even if you can't show the video in your video for one reason or another that is going to best way to experience the finale.
