No one sounds like Michael McDonald. On the other hand, I always felt that he was straining to meet the vocal requirements of this song. Your lead singer handles this effortlessly and cleanly. I'm a die hard Doobie fan and ya'll do the song justice.

Great performance!!!! I love the shirt Willie Nelson Blvd.!! I live in Austin, and that street is the location of the Moody Theater, where Austin City Limits is now filmed for PBS. The last time I saw Michael McDonald sing "What a Fool Believes" was in 2016 at Austin City Limits Live on Willie Nelson Blvd!! It was for a concert Christopher Cross and Friends, and featured Michael McDonald, Eric Johnson, and Mike Love of The Beach Boys.

Excellent cover of one of my favorite DB songs. Great vocals (and you can understand the lyrics ).As a bass player, that bass line is tasty. Like the guitar solo, also. Much better than a video I saw recently of a DB tribute(and I use that word loosely) band. Great job.
