@@centraltexasfoxbodies ..with a little maintenance and care you can put that many more and then some..the million mile motor is not just an advertising ploy..it's statistics..my fleet truck truck used to be a lunch/ coffee/ donut runner that the fat ass crew forman used to drive..2 trips a day to check on Crews.. in only a 80 miles sector radius..I know..I was there working.

Do an oil crossover line from head to head and it will sound even better! Did one last year on my rig with 376,000 mi. and i cant believe how smoother and quieter it sounds. Sounded just like yours before (not that yours sounds bad...quite healthy actually) but you WILL hear the difference

yes the injectors have a loud clicking noise every time the fire they are under high oil pressure to run properly. Ticking noise from outside hood can be many things including exhaust leaks...

sounds like a High Pressure Oil Pump issue, not enough pressure. Do you have oil in the valley? If so its your HPOP leaking down

@@clarkwilliams9967 I haven’t had it checked for codes yet, once the weather warms up I’m going to do all of that, I do not drive it very much. Once a month maybe. Yesterday I started it no problems at idle all sudden it just shut off. Fired right back up I did order a icp for it, I’ll get codes and give some updates thanks

@@jon-xq2lc icp is a good start forsure, but before i go throwing parts at it id check codes, hell get ya a 50$ scan gauge will tell u all you need. it shutting off then starting right back up does sound like an icp concern though.

@@jon-xq2lc I’d second that ebv tube and sensor for the hiss, that tube gets cracked it’ll hiss like an air tank fitting. Icp sensor is where I’d go after checking that. Also check for boost leaks on plenum, all the boots, red line off the waste gate etc…

@@wheatsuperduty3773 yes, the HPOP oil doesn’t mix very well with your regular oil, so it makes your injectors sound clanky because of bad oil, there’s a little plug on top of the HPOP just remove the plug and suck out as much oil as you can and put fresh oil in it. I do it every oil change.
