Great playing as always! One of the key complaints I've seen in earlier reviews is that all of the drum patterns end with a crash cymbal on the last beat. I didn't hear that when you turned the rhythm pattern on at about the 6:50 mark. Do you know if NUX fixed this in a firmware update? I've been trying to find release notes to no avail. Thanks!

Tks for the video. I got one too 1nd is really nice looper. Easy to use. And I don't if u mentionned you can actually send the drum track on one output and keep the rest of the loop on the other output. I send the drum track on a simple monitor/speaker and it improves the sound of it quite a bit. Happy new year to you

Very interesting seeing you use a looper Jon. You knocked it out of the park 😃😃👍👍 That’s a very nice one too. I have the previous generation of this and it’s still going strong 7 years later. I don’t use it too much as I upgraded mainly because of the drums sound quality. Otherwise it’s a separate pedal. Great sound quality. It does look like the drums on the new one are better quality than the original. Great video Jon. Cheers 😃👍👍❤️

I have so much to learn about pedals. Which does what. How to group them, and in what order. I have an old Ibanez chorus/flanger, and distortion. My amp is a sampling amp, and has quite a few built-in. I have heard some pretty amazing things done with a looper.

Thanks for review, Jon! We need a sample launcher - to load intro and launch it in the PA, so that all stops, when the sample is through. As I understand, this pedal can do it. What would you say about the sound quality / noise? Thanks!

I've read in product descriptions that this pedal can play backing tracks as well, but I can't find any instructions on how to do it. It's not in the manual from Nux's website, and searching hasn't found anything except the claim that it can do it. Can someone point me to a resource?

One thing this pedal doesn't do, is work with the NMP-2 (the NUX two button expansion), which is a real shame. You'd have to use a mido expansion if you wanted more buttons.

the drums have gone back to the 1st version which are nasty......the 2nd version the deluxe had proper drum sounds......a giant lead backwards for nux imo.....

No battery . And only midi footswitch . The midi assignments are pretty useless . Like brightness . The old one is better.

Using cubesuite on m vave chocolate there are some usefull cc between 40 and 60 like start/stop plaing, memory up, memory down, store, loop volume, drum volume and may be more. I had not the time for all the cc/value combinations. You'd better give it a try.
