Depends heavily on the area; Tokyo = very expensive, countryside = super cheap!
@Nero-xv8 жыл бұрын
Expensiveness is a relative term. It will always be relative to whatever else you might be comparing it to. I imagine that the closer to central Tokyo depending on the complex and amenities the more expensive the price will be. Usually this is a case with cities. The countryside is a bit more forgiving in terms of price. Weigh out all the factors and base your decision on that.

It's strange that all the rooms are so small and yet such a huge amount of space has been wasted above the living area. Putting a ceiling in would have given 2 very large bedrooms upstairs.
@Dragonite12568 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same exact thing haha.
@crimsoncaliber82708 жыл бұрын
It's done to make it more open and feel spacious. If it had a ceiling put in with rooms above, it would be less space that would make it feel like youre packed in a tune can, plus all the lighting you get for free would have to be replaced electrically with lamps. Adding another room doesnt make it better. I know everyone has their own preferences, but Americans are spoiled, self entitled, have been raised that more is better; thats why they are hardly ever happy. Believing more is better. Sometimes simple is just better in its own way. But to each their own.

@jsbfkdls5 жыл бұрын
@@lana6430 best advice i can give is throw up the food you ate before the flight, all of it. There should not be coming out food anymore just weird orange stuff. Yuck. then take a pill to make you feel better then you will LITERALLY be sleeping for hours upon hours even if you slept a solid 8-9h the night before and when you wake up you will not (im not joking) be able go walk a straight line because you basically have nothing in your stomach to make energy for your muscles. You will like fall in and out of sleeping even when you walk. So my suggestion is to ask the flight crew to wake you up 1h before the flight and just stuff yourself with all the food you can find. And by this point the flight/high altitude will be little to no concern to you since you only have one thing in mind, and that is to get nutritions. I would also recommend bringing a friend just in case things dont work out as planned. Dont ask why i know this. Overall this method is a solid 7/10 because you will want to die first but then rapidly feel better as the time passes by. Its quite the rollercoaster of emotions.

@jamespratt29868 жыл бұрын
financing is not too bad assuming you have a decent credit rating/job to afford the loan. Though there are some hoops to go through naturally. Taxes are heavier on the land than the house: the land is extremely expensive the larger the lot the more expensive... think city front street prices per square meter. In America, you're really paying for the house in most areas, the cost of the land isn't a large part of it, unless you have acres of area around your house. The opposite is true in Japan, the land cost is a much larger portion of your purchase price You can buy a condo for about the same price as a house in Japan, so cheaper because you aren't paying for the land, but then there will be annual/monthly building upkeep fees, plus renting a parking spot for your car, so it evens out. Condo would give you convenience of location(you wouldnt even need a car usually), but a house gives you space, but you will have to get used to commuting unless you are obscenely rich. Every house is a trade-off in Japan. space vs. convenience of location. That's true everywhere, but Japan much more so. Remember, Japan is the size of California with half the population of the US!
@Yeldur8 жыл бұрын
So you could buy a small amount of land with a very luxurious house, only it would be very small for much cheaper than you would if you were to do the same in the US?
@jamespratt29868 жыл бұрын
depends on the location...you get a LOT more land in rural areas than you would in a city/near a transportation hub. But as a percentage of the cost, the land is a much higher amount that it is in the states, My point is that land in the states is only really expensive in big cities, but in Japan, just about anywhere convenient the land is a significant portion of the cost..

Louellay I live in the Midwest btw. The only "huge" houses are either in rich neighborhoods, of which there are not very many in my city, and a couple old houses scattered about.
@cyberpwn7 жыл бұрын
I don't think the house as a whole being small or large is the issue here but rather how the space used and split between rooms etc. For example: I immediately though that the corridors in this house were too narrow and I'm not even from America (I'm from Finland). The point is that many people would rather have less rooms with more space and open spaces than many small rooms and narrow corridors.

this house is huge wtff how can anyone say it's small
@ter08747 жыл бұрын
mizuni it's because huge, tiny, average are SUBJECTIVE terms to people's own perception of what is what.
@HeroofSomething7 жыл бұрын
It's the perception of looking at an empty room and thinking it's big versus looking at the same room with a bunch of furniture and things inside, it looks smaller. This house is quite small, it looks huge because when you saw it outside, it's 2 stories and has 2 buildings connected. Although it is small when you actually pay attention and realize that the kitchen is smaller than my restroom.

I've tried it before and it was quite the experience. The button was in the shape of a butt with a sprinkler aimed towards it but I thought that I was just being immature. Turns out that I was right on the mark as well as the sprinkler as it hit bullseye. The thing is, I couldn't find the cancel switch and when I tried to move away from the toilet, the sprinkler would spray everywhere so I manned up and sat my ass until the worst was over. It was refreshing but violating...

A9HirotoPon Yes it's good. :D I mean the only ones you'll commonly use is konichiwa and arigatō. You should start learning hiragana, then katakana, then grammar and then kanji. Use JapanesePod101, it is good. Arigatō in hiragana is ありがとう Konichiwa in hiragana is こんにちは You should use ha (は) instead of wa (わ) for the end of konbanwa, konichiwa and particles. But it is still pronounced wa.

What's with Japan and tiny spaces? This is such a big house and they still sectioned it off into small rooms - those are tiny kitchen, toilet, shower and bedrooms. It doesn't make any sense having that middle part of the house into a loft and then cramming the bedrooms into a small space.
