Elway, TD, Sharpe, and Rod Smith was about as deadly as an offense could be back then (late 90s?) Nobody could even compete until the Warner/Holt/Faulk and Manning/Harrison/EJ combos came a few years later.

Adam Gase helped Peyton Manning play great in his 14th season. He didn't develop him, he didn't even really take him to places that he hadn't been before. He just existed next to a Hall Of Fame quarterback for a period of time and somehow got 2 multi-year head coaching jobs out of that.

Thats the also Sam Darnold in college, he was a horrible quarterback in college, he threw so many picks and never learned from it. The media kept hyping him up as this good quarterback, and delusional jets fans kept blasting me. I told them, that Darnold is a bust and that he is not a franchise quarterback. He is regressing because they arent teaching him the intangibles. Sam darnolds best trait is his scrambling abilities. He had no intangible that says he is a franchise quarterback. Try to tell that to the delusional jets fans but i got blasted and got called a hater. Well jets fans, I TOLD you so. He is not a franchise quarterback.

@@AznIntegra521 Who said anything about being a Franchise QB and its funny that you say that when Josh Allen was viewed as a more boom or bust product that couldnt throw the deep ball and was wildly inaccurate in college and look at what hes become...the consensus around him is that they've built the team around his skillset which in term elevates his play Nobody comes in a perfect prospect...a good way to combat Sams deficiencys early in his career would have been switch the offense up to a more throw to the RB put of the back field, slot receiver short routes if you know he struggles with interceptions it makes sense to make it easier The Jets havent helped him in anyway and if your not a franchisr talent that can kill your development
