As a Jets fan, what's the difference between Sam, Lawrence or Fields? There is nothing to work with here, no system in place, bad management. You move one QB out and replace him with another when there is nothing but dogshit around him. Will equal the same result. We've been at this a long time. Only way to improve is to start at the top. Start removing upper management and let it trickle down from there. Shuffling the bottom of the deck has proved to do nothing for this franchise.

@@damn6937 You said it. He's past his best so no one's going to trade for him and pay that salary. It's clearly not worked ; working, for either party so letting him leave is probably best. Although it does reinforce the Jets as a dumpster fire of an organisation.

The Johnsons are the reason Bill Belichick haunts the Jets and they will continue to be the reason the Jets are a franchise no one respects.

If Gase gets fired this sunday losing to his former team, would be sweet music to my ears.

They are going to release Darnold next. Gase just can't coach and at this point the best thing they can do is tank and fire Gase after this season.

Jets should have fire Gase after the last loss... to avert this catastrophe. Now.. .they will STILL end up firing Gase (at some point) and somehow be even less of a team

Gotta suck being a team in the New York media market. If this had happened in Phoenix or Indianapolis, would anyone even be talking about this?

It doesn’t matter who their HC or QB is, that roster is arguably *THE* worst in the entire league right now and needs to be completely torn apart and built back up

Jerry should be calling the Jets about Darnold and flip a 2nd pick for him. There is no way he’s going to be more valuable and make the Jets exercise is 5th year option.
