Love this video I’m African American but my guy is Nigerian and he always cooks Nigerian for me. It makes a wonderful red stew . but I would love to make some thing for him and after watching this video, I am definitely going to take your advice and borrow your mothers recipes. I hope to put a smile on his face as well and show him how much interest I have in your culture. It seems like such a wonderful meal. Thank you for sharing this.

yes we do eat the chicken feet, what i especially like to do after boiling and seasoning about 2/3 sets of chicken feet is making a spicy sauce and essentially making a peppered chicken feet delicacy. super tasty and chewy, falls right off the bone.

This cooking brought some childhood memories. I Guess all our homes Cook same, and chin chin too, with coconut by the side of the chin chin and sponge cake, while I was growing Up. I will start our tradition with my kids. Yes sweet sister the gizzard , "ekee okuko" is is for the Elder in the House, while people like me will gladly wait for our "ukwu okuko" the pelvic part is the part reserved for the daughter. a good size of the pelvic with a little turso of the chicken 😋 Yes oo sister the chicken legs we had then, but now things have changed my kids ve not seen the legs before. And we ve fried rice, jellof rice chicken, and salad side by side on the same plate. The baked beans, salad cream, and boiled eggs make the salad extra 😋 Yummy
