I was completely"wrecked" when the video was rewound from the point she jumped from the bridge to where she first left the bar or whatever and her friend chased after her and gave her that hug. It changed everything. It illustrates so poignantly the power of human contact and relationships. And yes, I believe God uses people all the time to rescue and show his love to us. ❤️❤️❤️

Having a relationship with Jesus does not make our struggles disappear but it does provide provision for our lives and without a doubt I promise you laying your troubles down at the feet of Jesus will open up a path to overcome your anger. I too have overcome a lot of anger in my life due to my childhood trauma. Definitely an awesome message to the song. I’m like you Half, raised by old school parents in that old school way, where men are just expected to just pack everything inside and sit on it. I do think it helps you develop a certain type of strength, but have to say it may not be the healthiest way to live. If you want another good country song that has a good story and will give you a good laugh you should check out Chris Cagle - Chicks Dig It. I guarantee Half will be able to relate and at the very least Jai will have been witness to it. Agreed about the being ugly, but ppl also need to realize not everything is about them. I grew up thinking ppl were always starring at me or talking about me. I realized when I got older that I'd catch myself starring out into space, deep in my own thoughts, and then suddenly realize it appeared as if I were starring at another person.
