Saw him in concert twice, when people say there was an aura about him, it was a magnet, you couldn't take your eyes off of him. He was funny and charming and of course beautiful. He had that combination of Beautiful but masculine. Imagine in the Vegas years he did two evening shows a night with no nights off for 5 weeks straight, no body can sustain that schedule and of course his manager was raking in 50% of the take. No one loved his fans like Elvis did, a example of that is in the Vegas 1970 version of "Love Me Tender", when he was determined to Kiss every girl in the audience and he nearly did. what a great guy, few know that he was also one of the most generous humanitarians in the world. see "Elvis Presley King of Kindness' also "Elvis Presley A Generous Heart", and to see his struggles in the racist 50's see "Elvis Presley and the Black Community". Thanks for your wonderful Reaction to a Legend.

I totally agree with everything everyone has commented so far. There will never be another like ELVIS. He arrived and left much too soon. I just can't get enough of him, he is probably one of the most handsome men in the world but his charisma is unmatched to this day. His voice keeps me living from day to day, especially his gospel songs. WOW. The whole of this show was spectacular and difficult to pick one particular song. Trying to get to you, Memories, Little Eva, If I can dream etc, they are all good. Love and miss you Elvis ❤❤💔

Fun story…his manager, the Colonel, was supposed to distribute the tickets to this show to his die-hard fans, but the day of, the producers found out that his manager never distributed any of them. So they were all out, rounding up people to come to the show so they could tape it, from people standing in line to see The Johnny Carson Show, to calling up family members to come down, to people in restaurants. One of the producers said in an interview I watched that had they known that the Colonel wasn’t going to distribute them, they could have sold the tickets for $1k apiece. Instead, they were scrambling the day of shooting. I can’t imagine why his manager sat on those tickets.

This is one of my favorite live recordings of Elvis (68 Comeback). Elvis was at his best. He was so handsome here & looked so cool in his black leather. This was an intimate setting with the audience members sitting around him. You could see how relaxed & at ease he was. He had a great voice & could sing anything whether it was ballads, gospel or rock. "Hound Dog" was first recorded by Big Mama Thornton in 1952. Many people have recorded it, but Elvis' 1956 version is the most famous.

These 3 songs were the reason that he didn't get more respect for how great his voice was. The gruffness that these songs demanded, got in the way of many people's thinking of how smooth and tender his voice really was. I'm surprised of the camera angle in this video. The tv industry frowned on showing him from the waist down, because of the "Elvis Pelvis".

Right, after making movies for years, E1vis was very nervous, had his doubts, if he can please the crowd like in the 50´s. But when E1vis looked around, noticed the positive reaction of the people, he goes directly into the music and his supertalent, like in the 50´s or even better, in my opinion. From this time on E1vis was on the top again. The GOAT.

Thanks so much for a fun reaction to one of Elvis's most rocking medleys.

the troll is here, he goes to every reaction to Elvis and makes this same tired comment. Sometime he poses as the bisexual Brando, and sometimes he poses as the mother of invention has been Frank Zappa. So jealous of Elvis, he thinks his remarks matter. Elvis transcends all the jealous men and competitors that ever lived.
