The "Marvel Humor" can work if you do it right. I really love superhero's and although it has been dying down, It still can work if you have clear vision for the story you want to tell, you just need to find a balance between the Humor and the Serious.

Personally I'd love to see you do the whole series, but I imagine that might take YEARS considering editing time. Though, I suppose now that you're introduced to many of the characters and themes, future episodes might be shorter.
