I fed my babies with glass bottles and now use the very same ones for my grandbabies. Of course, I've had to replace the nipples over the years. Glass bottles clean up so much better than plastic ones. I havent seen any for sale anywhere for quite a few years. I also still have and use the cloth diapers I first bought 44 years ago!!

I was fed with glass bottles with black and dark brown rings and the little flat caps to help seal the bottle. I nursed my children. I wanted glass bottles for backup, but could never find them. Now, they are available everywhere! If I collected them, I would want the rings also. They are going to be a sweet addition to your decor. Maybe paired with a photo of you and your sister as babies.

Thanks for taking us on your shopping ventures. It is the opposite where I live in Cali, even though it can be well over 100 degrees, people prefer to have their yard sales in the summer and it winds down with the coming of autumn. I have not seen glass baby bottles in a long time. My eldest son was born in the same year as you were and I had glass bottles for him. That is a cute idea with the large and small bottles with yours and your sister's birth years. I look forward always to see what you do with your finds.

Hi Julie! I would've gone straight to those cow figurines at the yard sale. That's my signature farm animal, especially in my kitchen. My little sister was fed with rubber or plastic bottles. She was always dropping or throwing her bottles (not very safe for people who were too close). I think that stereo cabinet would make a great storage trunk if the guts were taken out and a new lid was put on. You have a great day and btw I love that purse. It's about time for me to switch mine out😊.

I use a variety of small glass bottles to make my own keepsake/souvenirs. I will take a bit of soil-sand-pebbled from special places and add whatever dried items are local to thst spot. It may be shells, twigs, leaves, flowers....what makes a little scene of that place. Some I've added a tiny written note about the importance of the place. Others I've done an ingraved tag from the self serve machines at Wallie or pet stores.
