Not only is her outfit her Grandma's artwork, but this is the exact outfit she wore for her now famous performance of Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT/Champions. She wore it at least one more time, at an Asian American Gala in late 2022 or early 2023. I went back and listened to Billie Holiday's recording, and realized Angelina's phrasing by this point just flows more naturally than Billie's, to my ear anyway. Also - from the start, Angelina changes 2 lines near the end of the song. Billie: "You took the best, so why not take the rest". Whereas Angelina, every time I think, repeats (from the first verse) "You took the part, that once was my heart".

Good series! Two that were new to me. I have to be used to all her performances of a song being unique!

The subtle control Angelina has of her vocal toolbox makes everything she sings top tier.

Great series Aaron. Angelina's singing here was outstanding. The band? My parents taught me long ago, that if I had nothing nice to say, not to say anything. So I won't. Lol. Thanks for another great reaction.

This is all of her putting the 10000 hours in, quality of band, this tempo, that tempo etc....matters not. It's 'the process of just 'plain ol' doing it, putting the hours in, ynder as many differing conditions possible. She's bullet proof and stands head and shoulders above the rest.❤

Awesome reaction, never sings same song the same, that is why she will be hard to Impersonate, God Bless!

Billie Holiday is so deeply embedded in this girl and this is a perfect illustration of that.

Angelina is always in her happy place covering Billie Holiday. I hope she will sing "All of Me" in her upcoming concert.

Next April 7th is Billie's birthday and AJ should appear on that day in Harlem, NY at either a 'Jazz' club like setting or possibly The Apollo Theater itself. Call it 'A Night With Billie & Angelina' and have Billie's audeo/videos appearing on a big screen, followed by our princess singing the same songs 'live'. Talk about getting 'bang for the buck', this would be great for her career.

One thing I love about Angelina is you never quite know whats coming even if it is a song you have heard from her before.

Angilina and her Gran also made the outfit. All those dresses, ect, they also made. You should check out Angilinas artwork. I cant tell you what video but she was flipping pages of an art book and they were awsome paintings . I couldnt believe it because she was so young, around 9 or 10. I know it was an interview video in her home in Norway. Youll probably run across it one day. Keep up the good work man. See you on the next one.

Can't wait until you do her 3 or 4 versions of Funny Valentine, ending with her Las vegas performance. JAZZY AND STANK FACE. So incredible.❤

Yes, I can't wait for that one also. The 1st was at 9 in a concert with piano & sax backing, then at 10 sitting in a chair at home singing to a backing track, then at 16 in the Antique Store sing to a backing track , but we don't see her singing & finally at 18 with a full band in Los Vegas. They are all amazing in their own right, but my fav is at age 16.

I'm reacting to it tomorrow with Chris Walker. Though it won't be public for about a week (members will get it first)

Aaron, I agree with you that this band is not completely on their game. I believe this concert is the only time I've seen her perform with them. She has performed with bands that are worse than them, but at a much younger age.

Thanks for the confirmation. This felt a step back to me. Not HER but the growth from those around her

I enjoy your analysis of AJ's progress so much, keep it up. One thing I want to point out, and you aren't the only one that doesn't seem to understand that critique doesn't mean just negative things, it is both the negative and positive analysis of attributes. If you want to just comment on negative things, that is known as criticism I.e. when you critique an AJ performane,, you are mentioning the positive and the negative aspects of the performance....in her case, it is mostly positive, of course.
