As someone who works at a thrift store... yes people give us stuff for free but all that stuff needs to be moved and sorted and priced and put out for sale by people like myself and I 100% do not work for free :) Add in all the other costs associated with operating a store, like utilities and cleaning and security and everything, and you begin to see why it's a good idea to try to get the maximum profit from every item we receive. That said it's also not a good idea to mark things up too high and scare customers off, so at least where I work we try to hit that balance. I feel like the prices are very fair at my particular store, usually like $5-$8 for pants, $3-$6 for tops, etc.

I love that little side ta le you found, super unique and adorable, I love collecting odd glasses / coffee mugs too! I'm sooo glad you got those came pants. I am going to have to take a trip south with an empty suit case and just go thrift shopping everything was pretty inexpensive, we don't have a good will here, the smaller cheaper second hand store in town is just a liiiiitttttllllleee too gross for my liking, so I avoid that one. We do have a nicer quality second hand store but they charge a loooot for their stuff, but the prices go down after a certain amount of weeks and at some point they do sell items for $5. I love your videos!

I love that my goodwills have one price for each category. All pants are 6.99 . All tops 5.99. Winter coats 9.99 etc. I just think its a waste of time to price clothing individually... they do price shoes, purses, hats, toys and nic nacs individually thought.
