Wow, you've done a bloody fantastic job of that Mini, it looks incredible! I love the grill and spotlights, superb. And SC Models is a fantastic shop, I've known Shaun for many, many years, a really nice bloke and if he hasn't got something that you want he'll probably order it for you. And I live really close to the new shop, about a 10 minute walk away....

Tamiya scale body kits are flat out the best. So many modern rc's just look like clown cars or awful non licensed fakes. Tamiya is unrivaled in this aspect for sure. You bash your own paint jobs often, but damn, it's hard to do well and yours are pretty darn fantastic brother. Your shelf of vintage RC10s in the background is epic. A local store that stocks ps paint is a godsend. In my city there's literally 1 place that sells it and most online stores won't ship spray paint or batteries anymore. Cheers.

I still run one of these with a very similar (maybe older) Acoms Techniplus! Works a treat, and makes you recall what it was like running them as a kid. Take it to a huge, wide open car park on a quiet day - worth it 100%!

Not that easy currently but a Mini body on the new MB-01 Tamiya chassis would make for a good rere and Tamiya has an ongoing licencing agreement with BMW, so it could well be possible for Tamiya to do another Mk1 Mini body kit release.

My M05 version of this came with the standard rover decal sheet, and another for all the rally decals. Pretty sure it didn't have those half-tint windows. All the windows were multiple skinny trim pieces.

I had a tamiya eunos roadster sitting on the shelf since around 2010 and I just got around to building it😂 I had never built a tamiya lexan body and wow those stickers are intense. I do wonder if they hold up over time? Is it possible to clear the entire outside of the body with a gloss clear to help preserve them?

I bought two of the KYOSHO FAZER 69 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 VE , I was also tempted to buy the KYOSHO NISSAN SKYLINE 2000 GTR, but as that model version is the standard brushed motor and plastic centre drive shaft, i haven't been tempted enough to purchase that particular KYOSHO mode yet , or even the datsun 240 Z either for those two particular reasons of the plastic centre drive shaft and brushed motor only on those models, like the rest of kyosho fazer road car range 🤔 . I wonder did you really paint the mini , or did Rebecca really paint it 🤔 🤣

I have an original m01 with the green box art of the standard issues. The ralley was the second release on the M01. Should have picked up a roll of the wide masking tape. Saves a lot of the thinner tape used for the roof masking.
