New subscriber for The Sixsters! I discovered them about two months ago and their music and their story had me hooked instantly. Each of their songs is unique, so you will not see this iteration of them in other songs, which run from beautiful ballads to them unrecognizable in makeup playing punky songs, and hard rock. They play many genres, and Maria's amazing voice adapts beautifully to each one. I could go on about the backgrounds and musicianship of the members, but it would take paragraphs. Kate Kuziakina is a drum prodigy who has had her own YT channel since she was 7, and won the global Hit Like A Girl competition in her age group (8-18) when she was 9. Anna, the guitarist, showed just a flash of what she can do. She has an IG account full of covers of leads that are mind-blowing; she's truly next-level, though The Sixsters songs don't tend to really show her virtuosity. Polina, the bassist, is also an accomplished pianist and has a beautiful voice. This band will surprise you, but I think you'll like it. 😀

Welcome to The Sixsters, discovered them about 6 weeks ago and instantly drew me in with their song Feels. They are so creative, every song so different, but all Rock. They have been through so much as well with all that's happened in their Country, they are all refugees in Germany now. This was 14 year old Maya's last video with the band, her parents returned to Ukraine in September last year, so all videos from 2024 has Sofia on keyboards. Maya was with the band since its conception in 2018, yes that young. Currently, today, the band is Kate (15) drums, Polina (16) bass, Sofia (?) keyboards, Anna (21) Lead Guitar and Maria (17) rhythm guitar and vocals. The band was formed in 2018 when then, 9 year old Kate, who had a YT channel since aged 7 doing drum covers started playing as a guest with adult bands, she wanted her own band but didn't know any girls locally who played instruments, so her dad advertised for girls interested in forming a Rock band, so The Sixsters were born, aged between 7 and 12 at the time. Originally there were 6 members, so they based their name on Six Sisters who Rock.

Some more info, their earlier songs were all in Ukrainian (worth listening to as well), in the beginning written by other people for them, they don't do covers, the only one I've heard them do was of a Ukrainian punk bands song. Original band were Kate (drums) Taya (bass) Maya (keyboards) Alona (rhythm guitar) Ira (Lead Guitar) and Victory (Vocals). They added a second bass player after a few months Kira P. as 7 year old Taya lived furthest away and couldn't make all their events. Victory left after less than a year and was replaced by Kira K, who had appeared on Ukraines Got Talent as a 10 year old. The band stayed consistent with those members until 2021, when Maria replaced Alona at the start of the year, bring English and additional vocals to the band as well as guitar, then Anna replaced Ira at the end of the summer 2021. The girls recorded a fantastic hour long live concert in November 2021 and they had a career making stadium tour lined up for May 2022 with one of Ukraine's biggest Rock bands, but this was taken away by the outset of war. A few weeks after the war started, Kate's home where they had their studio was destroyed in bombing and the girls families fled Ukraine, except Taya who's family live close to the border with Poland. Five months later 5 of the girls met up in Germany and restarted the band, they released two songs Happiness and Hold with Kate, Kira P., Maya, Anna and Maria, who had taken over lead vocals now. Shortly after Kira P's family returned to Ukraine, so they replaced her with Polina, also a Ukrainian refugee and late last year Maya's family returned, so Sofia, another refugee was recruited. I'm glad you liked them and hopefully you'll listen to more, suggest Feels, City, Fever, Seem to Dance, well anything and they're all different and also great.

*The Sixsters* do have a Wikipedia page. Kateryna (drummer) started the band back in 2018 as a six piece band. None of them are siblings but are sisters with this band. Kateryna is the last original Sixster left as a member from the start. Keyboardist (sorry, forgot her name) in this video left the band last year when her family went back to Ukraine. The did recruit another Ukrainian (Sophie) to play keys. Sophie's first video was *"Feels".* Moving forward they are remaining a five piece band until they can go back home Ukraine. Then reunite with a member who left & wants to rejoin.

This Ukrainian band is amazing! I heard already 4 their songs and they are quickly becoming my second favorite Band right after Band Maid, my #1 favorite band from Japan! Thanks for your reaction, do it again!

I really respect their talent, and their musical skills. (When this was recorded about a year ago, the oldest of them Maria the vocalist was 17. They've been at this since 2018 I think, so some of them were 9 or 10 then). But what I respect most about them, is they just won't give up. When they were displaced by the "special military action" they got out, but were scattered across Germany. They got back together, and got back to work. Also they've gone out of their way to help families that weren't lucky enough to get out. I've always been impressed with that drive and determination. I'm glad you enjoyed it, great reaction!

the oldest is Anna at 21 (unsure of Sofia's age, the new keyboard player). The ages today Kate 15, Polina 16, Sofia ?, Anna 21 and Maria 17. Maya on keys here would be 14. Only Kate remains from the original band, Maya was also an original. Anna and Maria joined in 2021, Polina and Sofia since they left Ukraine. When they left Ukraine originally the girls were spread between Germany, Switzerland and Spain, its possible Anna still lives in Switzerland, she travels 2.5 hours to get to Essen.

These girls are reel musicians. all of them multi instrumentalist, All music award winners. As great as this song I know they are all somehow holding back.

A "heads up" if you will...Liliac released a brand NEW song a week ago...called "Delusion"...but, it is an Audio version only, at the moment...The Goddess Videos has released a computer generated video of this same song. Your Choice. They have been playing 3 NEW songs on the current tour, and will make a video of the one Fans like the most.. Song is about Child Trafficking...and other current issues..."Tick, Tock...Tick, Tock"....you will have to listen for it...

I believe the name stands for six sisters.Their backstory is sad but incredible. In my opinion they are one of the best bands around.They are all very talented.All they need is a little break and they will make it big

You will be surprised how diverse their song song repertoire is. Next song? Try "City". But you can also "roll your dice". ❤ Want a fun song? "Seem to dance" is the one for you (edited: same vocalist 😅) ... a song with punk vibes? "Media Minion" ... a ballad? "I stare at you" ... my favorite? "I don't like Mondays" ... an earlier song (English)? "Fever" ... a very very early song (Ukrainian): "Голосую" (very different members, but already great) And there is more. ..

Seem to Dance is same vocalist as For Us.. For Me, Maria Krutsenko. Media Minion and Fever are Maria and Kira sharing I don't like Mondays is Kira. Kira Kasyanova was the lead vocalist for the band 2019-2022. She didn't rejoin in Germany after the war started.
