I like to do this, except it takes forever some times when others are picking up. The last time it took two people and a week to complete. Yet I can have something in my hands two hours after first seeing an ad.

I'm pretty specific when I list things on my local Buy Nothing group. Like, I will say "preference will be given to individuals that can pickup sooner," and I list most my items as "FLASH GIVES" (which means the items are being listed with the intention of getting them re-homed quickly). Additionally, if I can't get rid of something after like 5-7 days, I donate it.
