I'm 32. Grew up watching this movie over and over. Mom has passed from cancer lost dad in a car wreck ( not kidding) and playing this whole thing reminded me to relax and take what life throws at me and not react how dr Leo Marvin did.

Tears reading that. i had a similar experience with my decreased bob wiley like brother. Fate it seems has gifted me another bob wiley......dogs keep stare at him the wrong way causing yelling....doors have to be opened and shut 5x in a row... deciding on a parking spot takes 20m......everything is so slow....I cherish every crazy minute!!!!

Fun fact: THIS MOVIE is the sole reason why Richard Dreyfuss wont work with Bill Murray anymore. Bill pulled so many pranks on Richard on set that the anger you see from Dr.Leo Marvin in the movie...has gotta be some of the best method acting i have ever seen. That anger...that rage...that was REAL. And that's a big reason why this movie is dam hilarious!

Thank you so much for sharing this! Miles Goodman was a very underrated film composer. I never saw any of his scores get a decent release, and have looked for this particular score for about 30 years. I wish I could find more of his score from Muppet Christmas Carol.

There would never had been a sequel to it because Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss did not get along during filming. Dreyfuss still hates Murray to this day and makes accusations against him. Shame because this is a movie that would have had great potential for a sequel.
