And this Wednesday she has an online concert “HYMN” so everybody all over can buy a ticket and see her. Also US and Australian time zones from what I saw. A few weeks ago she was in this dutch tv program “onmogelijk duetten” where they make it possible for dutch artist with VFX etc. To sing with artists that normally isn’t possible. So Davina picked Pink and what about us and they actually made it look like they were performing together. I highly recommend that one cause those two together is just insane good

You seem to like a lot of Dutch artists: Davina Michelle, Og3ne, Beste Zangers, Floor Jansen, Glennis Grace, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Amira Willighagen, etc AND you have a great love for water/the sea but being an ex-mariner that seems logical. Hmmm. I grew up with classical music because of my dad. And my mom... She was all over the place with music when I was a kid. She listened to Queen, UB40, Genesis, Enya... I think I mostly grew up with my mom's music. My dad would listen to is dramatic classical music through his headphones pretending to sleep. I hated that music as a kid. Now I can really appreciate the music. Times change.

I always loved ballads the most because thats for me where singers can really show what they are capeable off. And that means technical but also emotional. And thats also why i love Morissette so much, since 99% of what she does are just great ballads where she can shine with her great build-ups and of course her voice and story telling. On the other hand, i heared so often how good for example Ariana Grande should be, but so far i didn't found any good song of her that i really liked and where she showed what she is capable off. The best for me was maybe her in a latenight show where she sang some phrases from old Whitney or Mariah songs. Hell even her duett with Miley singing "don't dream is over" gives me more than all those boring pop songs i found so far. But in the Miley just outshines her easily 😄 The same reason i lost interest in Mariah around 2000 when she release "Rainbow" i think, and the whole album was mostly just boring hip-hop where i just wondered if she lost her voice and can't belt it out anymore.
