Thank you so much for making this video, I started playing Vib-Ribbon a couple of days ago, and seeing this suddenly jump into my recommendations was a really pleasant surprise. I love these types of videos that talk about some piece of media, and I really appreciate all the effort put into these videos. And also, thanks to this video I started listening to some of the albums shown here, and I'm really enjoying them so far, so thanks a lot.

Been a fan of Vib Ribbon since a year ago, when I got randomly reccomended a video of a guy playing Michael Jackson on it. And since I'm the asshole at 8:06 and my main hobbie ain't videogames but collectimg CDs and vinyls, this game is the perfect novelty to have in my collection (got the digital ps3 version though). I think here in Europe there might've been an official release of the game back in the day, but it is very rare plus I don't own a ps1. Anyway, this vid is probably one of the best intoductory videos I've seen to this amazing game, keep up the good work! :)

1:22 it seems like the entire line is called the ribbon while the obstacles are specifically called the "vib-ribbon" but idk never played this game before lol

nine fucking touhou albums‼️‼️ as someone who just collects cds for fun (and someone who plays vib ribbon for fun lol), i totally agree with what youve said here, even if my collection is tiny. also as someone who loooves shoegaze and noise music (and just loud music in general despite my hate for loud noises), its kinda sad that vib ribbon struggles to make charts based off of them, but hey atleast i get to listen to some of the more unique stuff in my playlist!

I wanna slap the face of whoever was in charge of Sony of America in the late 90s for not bringing this game to PSX in America. No taste and no balls. So innovative and so much charm in its simplicity, all so it was able to load onto the PSX's RAM. Limitations foster creativity, it's the kind of charm that was lost to the sixth generation consoles and above.
