A decade ago, car enthusiast Ryan Evans could attend a car tradeshow or convention without turning heads, but not anymore, as he became popular when the reality-television series, “Counting Cars” premiered in 2012. His incredible skills as the lead painter and graphic artist made him one of the most reliable crew members in the now famous auto restoration shop of Danny Koker in Las Vegas, Nevada called Count’s Kustoms.
However, Ryan’s sudden disappearance made fans curious and some even said that he will no longer be appearing on the show. As a firm reason for his departure was never given on the show, it led fans to wonder what happened. Some of those theories were pretty wild and one was that Danny Koker fired him for embarrassment. So, what actually happened to Ryan Evans from “counting cars”? Did Danny really fire him? Or did Ryan decide it was time to quit on his own? My wife I were in Vegas 5 yrs ago Stopped by WELDER UP shop Which like 15 mins away from counts customs Ran into Steve. Very great guy down to earth Drove over to counts customs Did the tour as we were leaving. Ryan came outside. For brief moment in front of my car. We chatted it up took photos with him great guy Very genuine As people started noticing him Lol lol. He took off I Gota go.

Huh......a guy who looked a lot like this guy delivered a couple expensive printers to our company a few weeks ago. I never really watched the show, but my buddy did and asked the guy if he was on Counts Custom's, and he WAS! I didn't stay for the conversation, but the guy was larger and had the same look as Ryan Evans. He ended up noticing my 59 Studebaker resto-mod parked on the side of the building and took a bunch of pics of it apparently. I'll have to ask my coworker what his name was.....

I live in Arizona just south of Las Vegas, Ryan doesn't work for Counts Kustoms anymore, he actuallyowns and runs his own shop now but he's still on the show and does all the speciality paint jobs and still does public appearances with them but as far as working for Counts Kustoms no he doesn't, Mike Henry, A.K.A. Horny Mike doesn't either, he owns his own airbrushing business but like Ryan is still on the show and still does public appearances with them, the only 3 of the main cast that still works for Count's Kustoms is Shannon, Kevin and Ghetto Bob.

He does have his own shop now, He's still on the show and still does alot of their speciality paint jobs plus does public appearances with them but he doesn't work at the shop anymore, Horny Mike is the same way, he runs his own airbrushing company but is still on the show also, the only 3 cast members that are still at Counts Kustoms is Shannon, Kevin and Ghetto Bob, everyone else has moved on to somewhere else. as far as custom painting goes he is amazing, but the price they get to shoot a car one color is outrage's they tell you the price of paint is the cause, as do all painter's when it take's one week to sand and paint body shop's want more money than it take's some people 6 month's wage's, that is the drawback, still he has amazing talent

I'm OK with Shorty leaving Iron Resurection. Shorty was getting too bold with Joe. Joe and Amanda are the show. Mike, Shag, the dogs and a few others are the show. Now Shorty and his friends claim the make dreams. They are no better than thousands of other shops around the Country. Too many pop up shows that have no talent just jawing about what they think we want.
