fair point man couldn't agree more. if i may id like to suggest a video idea: back in the days of kaka there were egyptian players that terrified top teams to name a few: mohamed abotreka mohamed zidan(he had lewandoski on the bench 🤯) Abdel-Sattar Sabry(young cr7 says he used to consider him his role model ) there has been more too imo egypt has a pretty tough lineup its just they cant work together for shit lmao idk i think itd be fun talking about how these guys were basically ruling african football

for me you could argue World Class is Top 30 for Ballon D'Or Shortlist if you wanna categorize players in a certain box but generally I reckon its top 7-8 players in that respective position, give or take a few exceptions

The issue is that the "they're essential to their team performance" requirement may weaken once you notice that there are obviously not world-class players who are vital to their teams I'm a Red and D. Jota is crucial most of the games coming from subs, more now when everyone but Salah can't keep the goals coming. Asensio in Madrid was the same for the past seasons. Even if both Jota and him weren't in starting team level they still were crucial and saved a lot of games. I think we should value a great sub as much as a great starter. What I mean to say is that you can be vital to your team and be world-class, but you can also be average and still as vital. Idk if these crucial roles are such a determinant factor in a player being world-class

Right now there are maybe 15 world class player. In 2014-15, there were as double as much world class players.

The term ''World Class'' is thrown around too often today, without us having a proper definition of what it means. I would partially define it as being in the top 3 best players in the world for your position for at least 3 years or more. Furthermore, as a final piece, I believe the player would have needed to have won at least one major trophy at club or international level - for example - a domestic league title or cup in any of the top 5 European leagues, a European trophy like UCL or UEL, a World Cup, or a Continental Cup (Euro / Copa America / African Nations Cup / Asia Cup etc). We all know CR7 and Messi deserve to be in a category of their own, so outside of them, the players I would put in the World Class category are players like R9, Henry, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Kaka, Neymar, Hazard, Bale, Suarez, Mbappe, Robben, Benzema, Lewandowski, Ibrahimovic, Iniesta, Xavi, Modric, and many more. Saka is nowhere near this level yet, but he does have the potential to reach close.

I know many people have already said it, but yes. Do a Griezmann video. Everything else has 1000% videos, it’s fine for you to make a video that’s been done before. Hell, this one has been done before. And no, right now, Bukayo is *not* world class. He is generally, but his performances have been quite lackluster as of late. But I think that’s because teams know that if they can make him have a hard time, it hurts Arsenal overall.

His argument about if you take that player out of the team, the team would fall, is quite a bad statement. For example, I take KDB out of Man City which has just happened, and look at them, they are 3rd in the league better than 17/20 teams.

I think that argument works for any team that isn't man city, they have SO much depth that even their bench are world class material, just look at Alvarez. They also have Pep (arguably) the best manager in the world who can adapt to these types of situations and knows how to change up their system in a way that would balance things out when they miss players. As an example, I think Mahrez the last 5-6 years has been world class but when taken out of the team, they didn't dip in form too much since they have Foden and Bernardo Silva (2 other world class or near world class players) to take his place.

A player is "world class" if they get consistently called up to their national team. Any other parameter is just too opinion based. Fans will either throw the term around based on run of form, or not attribute it to any player that doesn't remind them of prime CR7 or Messi.
